Good hotel in a busy city centre. Thank you to all the lovely staff who work so hard and are so polite and helpful. Honestly the staff are 5 star service and never ever pressure for tips. The shared hotel facilities are maintained well although they need a deep clean to truly reflect the 4 star requirements. Food in the buffet and the 'a la carte' restaurants are exactly the same and definitely not worth the 4 star mark. Same choice of pasta, roast chicken, fruit, veg, salad and desserts every day. We ate out a few times as it was very boring being there 1 week eating same things. Although, the food is tasty and cooked well- no upset stomach at all. You get a la carte booking for every 5 days you stay but honestly don't stress if you can't get the booking as its really not that amazing. Beach is lovely. 2 beaches to choose from out of which I preferred the quiet small one. You will get hassled a lot to book excursions etc. so tie one of the red cloths round your umbrella to stop them bothering you and then you'll have a great time! Beach towels are available daily. Our upgraded superior beachfront room (513) was questionable whether it was worth the upgrade- i think the standard ones look much better. It was spacious but no balcony. There was a pigeon nest in the roof right next to the bed wall which meant we could not sleep well as they were making noise constantly.. It was also one of the non-rennovated rooms. Dirty windows and curtains but other than that the rest was cleaned well when requested. Towels fresh on request. Pillows are very uncomfortable so there were a few mornings with sore necks.. WiFi is great! Entertainment is okay, could be much better. They made Xmas into such a big thing, we were bored of the celebrations by Xmas day haha! We booked an amazing stargazing safari trip with Rambo who works in the hotel through a third party Scorpion Safari. Recommend it highly! Thank you Rambo for a great service. Bar staff are great and very helpful and also all the waiting staff in the restaurants. Honestly they really made this experience great. Loved the gentleman in the supermarket in the lobby. He has snacks and drinks at very good prices and is so kind. The surrounding area is very busy with a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from, including a nearby McDonald's and a 20-min walk will get you to marina which is quieter and more pleasant with lots of restaurants and bars (including a British bar). Overall good experience i think the hotel is more a budget 3 star for the British standards. I'd definitely return to Hurghada which is a beautiful place but I think I would choose a different hotel, personally.

the hotel is absolutely beautiful , however the music on the street is very very loud. the staff are very friendly the hotel cleanliness is brilliant the children’s play area is really good and the food is also good - Eid the bar staff was very helpful and friendly

Me and my partner had a wonderful 10 days at Seagull Beach Resort, located right on lively Sheraton Road, its a big hotel with 2 beaches, the food was great, lots of choice, great friendly staff, our room was cleaned everyday, with clean towels added everyday as well, 2 big bottles of water each day, there's a fridge & kettle & safe in the room with tea/coffee/sugar replenished everyday, we had amazing views across to the sea from the 4th floor, Room 5401. There's some great shops in the hotels grounds with great prices, especially the shop directly behind the children's playhouse, first on your left. The locals who have businesses on Sheraton Road are very friendly and love you to go into their shops, please don't feel pressured to buy anything, me and my partner were in and out of the shops all the time & had a great time chatting to the locals, there's a great chemist a few doors from the hotel if you need anything. Sheraton Road really comes alive at night, we sat outside Cafe Sokarya directly opposite the hotel regularly, the staff there are very friendly, its a great place to sit people watching. Visiting The Marina is a must, stunning yachts, great bars/restaurants, we loved The Moon restaurant and Las Vegas and Olie's. We went a boat tour on the The Ferrari, arranged through the Hotel Rep, diving, snorkelling, banana boat, parasailing, it was an amazing day, we had breakfast and lunch on the boat, it was top quality food and all the staff on the boat were very professional, highly recommended!! One of the best hotels we have stayed in.Staff are very friendly and can’t help you enough. Facilities are amazing and hotel is huge. Not a lot of entertainment in the evenings but given the time of year it is to be expected. Will definitely be staying here again. The trips are well organised and not expensive so worth every penny

I had a room 299 in new part of resort, room was lovely and modern was cleaned each day by shnoda who was lovely. New pool plenty of beds no matter what time. Ada and mohammed bar staff always smiling and helpful, others not so. Towel man mo saleh lovely as we're lifeguards at the new pool. Food a bit hit and miss. Best part for me was breakfast. Evening meal was not the best. Would I return. Yes if got room in same new part as older part not so nice. But not guaranteed. Reception team nice except the man sorting the WiFi card out, told me to come back in hr, told Reception man this and he sorted this for me straight away. Overall a lovely stay ☺️ Thanks Lisa
