Drury Inn & Suites Huntsville Space & Rocket Center

Great hotel, clean,quiet, wonderful breakfast and evening snacks. Close to attractions and so shopping! Room was excellent with great view of space center

First time staying at this hotel. I absolutely loved it. I will always stay here from now on when visiting Huntsville Alabama. I wish they would serve bacon, rice and some kind of non pork meat items for breakfast sometimes. Across from the rocket center. The hotel is very clean, very well kept. The workers are extremely nice.

We stay in Drurys whenever they have a property which serves our travel. We will even go a bit out of our way to indulge in the evening kickbacks and reliable morning breakfasts. This stay was no different - five stars all the way. Value, staff, rooms, public spaces - all at a standard other chains in this market segment would do well to strive for. Our only advice about this property is to ask for a room on the southwest corner so that your view can be of the rockets at the Space Center across the freeway. When you check in, the staff has been trained to say, "we have a room in the back where it's quiet" instead of "Sorry, all the rooms with a view of the Space Center are booked up." Be one of the guests who gets one of the view rooms.

Outstanding place to stay. Staff friendly and professional. Very clean and the dining is very nice. We always appreciate the drinks, dinner and breakfast Room comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking, WiFi worked well

From the moment we booked our stay, this hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had one special request — that our autistic 6-year-old could have a view of the space center. Not only did they honor it, they delivered perfectly. The view was incredible, and seeing our daughter's face light up when she looked out the window made me tear up. That alone would have been enough to earn our loyalty forever. But it didn’t stop there. Every single member of the staff was not just kind — they were genuinely accommodating and autism aware, which is something we so rarely experience when traveling. They treated our daughter with respect, patience, and care. It was clear they had taken the time to understand her needs, and that made all the difference. The sense of safety and acceptance we felt here was indescribable. The hotel itself? Amazing. Beautifully kept, clean, and comfortable. The food was great, the pool and hot tub were so relaxing, and that view — I still can’t get over it. This stay wasn’t just a vacation for us — it was a moment of peace, joy, and feeling seen. We’re deeply grateful and will absolutely be back. To the staff: thank you for making our daughter feel at home. That’s a gift we’ll never forget.

What a wonderful location!! So close to the space center made it a wonderful choice. We did have a few unusual issues and the manager helped us out with one of them by himself. Now that's caring! It was our bathroom floor being very slick from something, probably a cleaning product the maids used. It was cleaned and no more issues during our stay. We really thought we might slip earlier. The other issue was the horrendous view out of our window. I guess you get what you pay for but our room was expensive enough on the weekend. Our view consisted of the roof, flashing, and a wall. No attempt to make it nice for the guests. That keeps the review to 4 stars instead of 5. The 'kickback' dinners were a lot of fun during our two nights here. The room itself was fine although the a/c was a bit finicky, but it did work. To make our stay unique, we took a peak out of the hallway window at night and saw fireworks off in the distance with a space center rocket in the view. How cool was that! See below.
