This is a transition hotel before going to the hotel island in Maldives. I booked it for one night because I saw good reviews online. Strategic location. Just 5 minutes away from jetty to Maafushi island and to the airport. Nice breakfast also. The Filipino receptionist was lovely. She can suggest to you attraction in Malé. Looking forward to stay here on the next visit

There are domestic flights for 150 USD/30 minutes and seaplanes for 250 USD/30 minutes, but they all seem to take off from Male in the afternoon. I participated in an activity to watch manta rays on the island. I set off in the morning and the speedboat drove for more than ten minutes to reach the designated sea area. I saw them immediately. They are very cute and friendly to humans. They are like children. They will circle around humans and swim to you head-on. It is strictly forbidden to touch them. They will never come here again if they are frightened. You can watch them on the boat or snorkel and play with them. It costs 70 USD per person and there are at least 2 people in a group. I have no idea why this property has such a low rating. It is a budget accommodation ffs. Rooms aren’t new, but clean, shower has good pressure and hot water, staff is smiling and helpful, speed of internet is enough for general use, like YouTube. I suspect that people hat choose this place are so poor that expect 5* hotel for this money. This is the cheapest in Male, this isn’t Thailand or Kuala Lumpur. Why would you try to hurt this business is beyond me. Don’t look at it through your cheap fake ray bans. Have a broader view, and remember where you are. Be greatful a bit.
