Location is perfect; overlooking the lake. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and staff that go the extra mile. Highly recommended when in the special town of El Rocío.

Amazing location and quality at every turn. Decor in public rooms and our bedroom no. 24 all superb. Very modern technology and lots of charging stations etc. Relaxing and great staff service. If the other 2 group hotels are like this, we will try them!

The hotell is stunning. Really beautifull and also the rooms are very nice decorated. The staff at the reception was superfriendly and helpfull. The hotell is located close to the centre of the town but very quiet at night. We stayed during the week out of season and it was very quiet. Maybe too quiet because there was only a very little choice of restaurants. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, no fresh orange juice or egg. Most of the guests ate local ham for breakfast but there were very few vegetarian options, only one cheese. It was ok but not overwhelming for a four stars hotel. We also tried the pool at the roof, it had only 4 sunbeds but the view was spectacular.

What a wonderful place to stay. This is a boutique hotel as it should be. Everything was well taken care of, staff was very welcoming and the suite was wonderful. The price quality for this hotel is outstanding. El Rocío is a special place to spend a couple of nights. During the evening the atmosphere is magic. It is better to go during weekdays to avoid weekenders and second home owners, if you wish to experience the quiet magic of the place. Just one remark: we tried to use the bar terrace for a drink, but it was hardly possible to sit on any chair. They were almost all dirty with bird droppings. Now, in this place so close to the national park, I guess this can hardly be avoided, unless a creative solution could be found to cover the terrace somehow ….

We booked for two nights from 30 May and paid in advance (Dec 2023). Only to be informed two weeks before the booking that they were overbooked and we must find something else. We are visiting the Donăna to go bird watching and loved the typical town of El Rocia and the traditional style of La Malvasia. The hotel suggested we move our reservation to a multi-storey beach complex instead. Totally unacceptable! Don’t trust these guys! We are hoping they will send us a full refund,

We stayed two nights in august and enjoyed every minute. Hotel is in a beautiful restored traditional hacienda. Reminded us of estancias in Argentina. Very old world. Staff polite and helpful with good English. Room clean,beautiful decor, comfy bed. Great pool area on roof top with views of Doñana park and wild horses grazing. Only four deck chairs so fills up quickly. There’s a bell to ring for drinks service by the pool. We had sun downers there with great sunsets. Good breakfast but very overpriced at 16 eur per person. Bread, fruit, ham, cheese and cakes (no eggs or youghurt) plus very good coffee from espresso machine but still not worth 16 euro. Had dinner in their restaurant on first night. Pricy but worth it. We ate outside on their terrace with horses riding by on their evening excercises. We loved the hotel and the very special village of El Rocio. Thank you.

This rural hotel will remind you of a Mexican hacienda! We stayed in the new building which was absolutely amazing! Immaculately clean sheets and pillows and a beautiful bathroom in a great location by the Donana Park where you can see pink flamingos and other species. The breakfast needs improvement and is not what you might expect for a Hotel of this category.

Truly, perfection. First, the gentleman at the front desk, David, was incredibly kind and helpful. The most helpful part was being available to walk to our rooms in the next building (and assist with the baggage) when we arrived much later than expected, at almost 10:30pm (22:30). He also spoke excellent English (and said that he also speaks French and German). Second, the rooms and common areas (that we saw) are all beautiful. The entire place is the defining of charming. The “Junior Suite” is enormous, and perfect for any couple. Third, it happens to be only a block or two from where the flamingos congregate. Given that we did not have a lot of time, and did not plan, to take a formal tour, it was wonderful to see the flamingos. Fourth, the breakfast was excellent.
