This is one of the cutest home stays! The design and decor make you feel like you’re staying at an upscale bed and breakfast right in the middle of the town. The owners are so sweet and make sure you have everything you need. The room had heated floors which was amazing and the bathroom was even decorated nicely. The room was so cozy and very quiet. The resort is right on the Main Street but back a little bit so you don’t hear and hustle and bustle. It’s the perfect getaway while visiting Huangshan. The breakfast was made fresh and so delicious!

Located right in the old street itself, which is very convenient to explore the old street. Place was clean and comfortable, only qualms I had was that the bed is very hard! The lady in charge was very nice and gave me tips as to where to visit around in Huangshan.

This hotel is simply put: amazing. From when greeted, you are welcomed with a smile. The receptionist when I arrived checked for my details and saw that I had booked another night in a hotel but in a different room, so he kindly upgraded my room to the one I booked for the first night. This also didn’t come from me asking, it was his willingness and kindness to do so. The Queen room was beautiful, it was my last big weekend in China, therefore I had to treat myself like a King, fitting to its royalty standards the room definitely made someone’s stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. The service was exceptional, the breakfast included, hearty and plenty of options to cater to different types of food needs. Ideal location in the Tunxi district. What more can I say? When visiting Huangshan again, I will stay in this hotel and no look no further

inside laojie old street. clean, lots of shops all within walking distance. riverside is also a stone throw away. recommended if u want to stay at tunxi old street..

Loved this beautiful historic homestay. Clean and neat and beautifully decorated. Welcoming host who spoke great English and comforting breakfast. the second bed was a bit hard for our family that is not used to hard beds, but the other main bed was fine. the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. the location is ideal for exploring the old street

The stay was simply exceptional. Not only for the facilities, which were really comparable with modern 4 star hotels, but especially for the exceptional service. Every need was taken care of and the staff went beyond lengths. We made the right choice and gladly return again. Perfect for the old street, the mountain and the old village. Excellent breakfast as well.

I have stayed in this inn three or four times. I chose it without hesitation this time. The environment is very good and the location is also very good. Because there are only me and my child, I booked the smallest room. The waterproofing of the bathroom is not good. The toilet and shower are together. It is not convenient to take a shower. The toilet bowl gets wet when taking a shower. Also, the latest check-out time for booking on Ctrip is 2 o'clock. Because I brought my child with me, I asked the owner and he said that the latest check-out time is 1 o'clock...

We were not too sure what to expect from our first China trip so it was with much relief to receive such warm welcome and care when we reach our accomodation in Tunxi. Not only is our hotel a beautifully well-kept centuries-old heritage building, the service rendered by the staff was the highlight of our trip. They made special arrangements for us to have our breakfast (and it was a awesome breakfast too!) earlier as we were trying to reach Huangshan as early as possible. On our way back, we decided to stay one more night here as my friend was unwell. It felt like we were coming home, when we reached the hotel the second time. The staff even helped us to find a drugstore for us to buy some medicine to treat the stomach upset. My friend was really grateful for help rendered. We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is easily reached by buses from high speed railway station and next to the famous TunXi Old Street area. The staff in the hotel, receptionists, kitchen staff, room cleaners, managers...all were super kind and helpful. The chef at the breakfast did the perfect runny eggs for my English husband. The front desk staff helped us with sightseeing options and suggestions. Our special thanks goes to 吴海燕, the manager in sales, who went extra mile in her helpfulness: booked the hotel on the peak of the yellow mountain for us, lend us her sim card to ensure our trip to the mountain was safe and without the risk of unable to call for help, because our mobile don't work in China, she also drawn a map and suggested best route and points of interest for the mountain climbing, which proved to be invaluable, we felt very lucky to have met her. Strongly recommend this hotel.

From check-in to check-out, the whole experience exceeded expectations ～ The front desk was warm and professional, and took the initiative to help upgrade the room type. The room demand response was super fast. Even the luggage was helped to organize in place. The details were full! Breakfast is a rich choice of Chinese and Western buffets, and the freshly cooked local specialty noodles are strongly recommended! The ingredients are fresh, and the coffee is actually made of boutique beans, comparable to the café level! The room is equipped with an intelligent guest control system, curtains and lighting are adjusted by one-click, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, the shower water pressure is super stable, and the Oujia hair dryer + high-end bathroom set is really awkward! The most important thing is that the room is particularly soundproof! Close the window and be quiet for a moment, sleep well all night until dawn, no corridor sound can be heard at all, privacy is full! All in all, from smell, taste to sleep experience are impeccable, definitely the first choice for business travel and vacation, Amway has given friends, will definitely come again next time! 💯
