Huangshan Huangshan District Hotels

This hotel is quite good, with a few details which could be improved. The location is perfect if you want to hike the Huangshan Mountain. One of the areas where you can buy the bus tickets to get to Huangshan is less than 1km away (towards the mountian). You can either walk there or order a Didi go get there. The disadvantage of the location is, that all the buses, which go to Huangshan, pass right in front of the hotel and therefore there will be some noise starting from 6am. However most people will get up early anyway. At night the location is quite. The rooms are very nice and for example the bath room was very nice, but some other furniture is a little bit dated and shows a cheap design. Also some in some areas (breakfast room) some maintenance would be needed. The breakfasts is good, typical Chinese (not the same as in a 5 star hotel, but you can get many things). The outside hotspring pools, are nice, but they have all the same temperature (about 38°). The temperature displays which are installed are not accurate at all, in some pools it shows 45° and in others 34°. But it is all the same (I measured it). The staff is nice and helpful, however they don't know a lot of English. Overall the hotel can be recommended, but I hope they will work on some improvments here and there.

The hotel and room is very nice. There is a restaurant on the ground floor that serves good food. A lady will tell you to eat at their restaurant because they have good food. But upon eating there she is saying the truth it is authentic chinese dishes. The room is clean and nice. There is also a supermarket across the street. There is also a hotpot restaurant across the street that serves authentic hotpot dishes

Environment: The homestay is very close to the transfer point, and the owner will send you to the transfer point in the morning, which is great. Service: I booked this homestay after seeing the good reviews from Ctrip. It is really good. The location is in the scenic area, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is very high. In addition, the owner will give reasonable climbing suggestions based on the reservation of each tourist's attractions and the situation of the companions. It is very practical. Free hiking poles and raincoats will also be provided, and the service is particularly thoughtful. The breakfast of the homestay is 15 yuan for a portion of topping noodles and 3 yuan for an omelet. It tastes good. Eat one before going up the mountain in the morning. The whole body is warm and full. It is a good breakfast for climbing. There is a pick-up service, 30 yuan per person per time, and 40 yuan per person per time after 9 o'clock in the evening, which is also relatively reasonable. In general, the tourism industry in Huangshan is relatively complete. You can bring your baby with you next time and book this one.

Very recommended. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Good location within walking distance to Huangshan scenic area, lots of restaurants and minimarts nearby. The hotel itself is superb. We stay at a family room for 3. The room itself has 2 storey with spacious toilet and a sofa, and a double bed and a single bed upstairs. Breakfast is tasty with various local dishes but the same kind of food in our stay for 2 days there. The hotel provides free 24 hr laindry room with commercial washers and driers.

Our hotel stay was amazing! The hotel manager speaks English and was very friendly and helpful. He organized a car to pick us up from the train station and drop us off at the hotel’s door. Check-in was smooth and easy. The front desk staff spent several minutes explaining the best way to hike the mountain, and she gave us a map of the mountain and highlighted the routes we should take. We booked our tickets online, but the front desk staff can also help you book your tickets. They can also help you book a car back to the train station once you come down the mountain. The service truly is exceptional! There are hiking poles that you can borrow, a restaurant on the first floor, and a convenience store on the first floor with bottled water for 1 RMB. The hotel is extremely conveniently located beside the entrance for the shuttle bus up to Huangshan cable car. We could see the shuttle bus entrance from our hotel room. Outside your doorsteps are lots of restaurants, bubble tea places, supermarkets, and a fruit store. When we woke up the next morning, it took us less than five minutes to walk to the shuttle buses. Our room faced the street but it was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Huangshan.

Pros: 1. the property is very close to the bus entrance to Huang Shan. 2. The boss lady (it's an endearing way to address the women who manage hotels and restaurants in China) is very kind and helpful! 3. the restaurant on the ground floor is pretty good and friendly. Con: It's not really a problem of the property. I took the transit organized by the hotel to Hong Cun. The driver was very aggressive in his driving style. We left around 7pm, which is quite dark. He was making aggressive turns and brakes, making everyone onboard extremely nervous. 优点： 1.这处房产离黄山的公交入口很近。 2.老板娘非常善良，乐于助人！ 3.一楼的餐厅很不错，也很友好。 Con： 这其实不是房地产的问题。我乘坐酒店组织的交通工具到洪村。司机的驾驶风格非常激进。我们在晚上7点左右离开，当时很黑。他急转弯和急刹车，让船上的每个人都非常紧张。

Location = Great location. It is at Tangkouzhen. The hotel itself has a restaurant within its premise. There are mini markets nearby for you to stock up on snacks and other food stuff and beverage. It is about 30 minutes bus ride to Huangshan. Cleanliness = Excellent. Everything is in order. It has a smart system where the drapes are opened and shut with a touch of a button. The rooms are spacious and everything you need in a room is there and there was not once we need to call the helpdesk. Service = Excellent. There is a manager who is very hospitable that gave us a lot of information on the food and weather and the preparation for the Huangshan trip. There is also a tour agent who helped to arrange for the transportation to and from Huangshan which is also very helpful and patient. Facilities = Excellent. There is a laundry room with dryer without additional charge. There is a massage service available in case you need it after Huangshan hike. The restaurant's food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book the transport to Tunxi and back. There were 5 of us so, if we used the taxi we would need to book 2 but they suggested and helped us to get a 7-seater. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here.

It's true that I chose Yunman B&B after choosing a few (the reviews said they were good), but I didn't really have any high expectations. The twin room is on the second floor. The overall decoration color is very simple, but it feels good, neat and comfortable. The boss is also kind.
