Great place to stay clean beds and clean restrooms the place is pretty close ( 10 min walk to the south entrance ) there are a few hiking utilities like hiking poles,ponchos,snacks water etc that you can buy here at very nominal prices The hiking (difficulty between medium to hard ) itself can be done in a day for an average hiker both ways without a cable car, Hike up the west route Yuping direction and Hike down Yungu make sure you start by 7AM. I also did avail the shared ride back to HuangshanBei station for 35Yuan and the door pick up was helpful thanks for the stay.

Very nice place to stay during visit to Huangshan Mountains. The bus which takes to/returns from Cable Car has station near by. Many restaurants and market near by. Also lovely dog stays in back of house.

This was a nice place to stay before going to Huangshan. The host is really helpful and friendly, providing information on climbing and transportation. The dormitory room was simple and comfortable enough, and amenities were good considering the price. I’d recommend the place to others.

I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Huangshan. Great location, you can easily walk to the bus station to get to the mnt. Also, super helpful owners, so amazing (no English, but they are great with translate). I am very grateful for all their help and guidance. NOTE they can help you book a shared car from Huangshan North (or anywhere) directly to the hostel for about ¥35. This is really good and faster. You can reach out to the customer service line, they speak English and can help you coordinate. Otherwise you will take a bus then a DiDi to get here.

Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed at in my years of solo travelling. Toilets, beds and shared areas were spotless. Only a 20 min walk away from the bus up Huangshan, and very reasonably priced. The owner of the hostel is also endlessly helpful and a joy to chat with. If you are coming direct from the airport or train station don’t forget to reach out to her about a share ride option that is much cheaper than a taxi and more direct than the bus!

A great guesthouse with wonderful people, they helped me a lot during my stay and it really made my trip even better. Do not hesitate to come here, you will not regret it. Thanks for everything!!

Great hostel. The owner is amazing, she couldn't speak any English word but explained me everything with the translation app. Absolutely clean and friendly hostel. Would totally recommend it to everyone!!

A lovely and cozy inn in convenient location—just 15–20 minutes walk to Huangshan South Gate, with plenty of food around. The place is very clean, and the shared bathroom on each floor is spacious and well-maintained. The owners are incredibly kind, especially to solo travelers. The auntie carefully explains the sightseeing routes and are always ready to help, she also helps connect guests with each other and can arrange affordable shared rides from Huangshan North Station or Hongcun (pin che). The inn also sells essential items for your trip at reasonable prices, which is super convenient. Warm atmosphere and friendly guests—highly recommended! If return to Huangshan, I will definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Huangshan Inn very much. The owner was kind, friendly and chatty even though we did not speak the same language. She provided me medicine when I was unwell and booked me a very cheap taxi back to the train station for a fraction of what it said on DiDi. I’d recommend this place very highly

Very friendly people and very nice place at a perfect location for reaching the mountain. They helped me also with the mountain routes and they arranged my transfer from the airport and to railway station.

Fantastic stay in Tangkou. Great location for Huangshan (5-10mins walk to the starting gate for the 10min bus to starting point). Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around. Super clean and great for meeting other solo travellers. Hostel staff were very kind and even helped me book a shared car from the train station to the hostel for 35 yuen. Thank you!!!

Perfect stay, so friendly people and dinner together, I don’t forget the time in the hostel!!

The room was very very beautiful and big, nice view! Also good privacy with curtains. There is only one bathroom for the floor I was in (12 guests in my floor), so unfortunately it get dirty pretty quickly. Apart from that, it was a big bathroom and gets clean daily which is good. Location perfect, away from the busy area! Only 15mins walk to the bus station to get up the mountain. Host really friendly and kind. Will stay again
