Huali Mingsu Hotel

Overall comfortable stay at the hotel except Rm 13140 is near the reception. The room is noisy as the reception toilet is adjacent to the room. The hot water low pressure alarm kept buzzing making the room even noisier. Avoid this room.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Huangshan and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly cosy—equipped with everything I needed, from toiletries to bottled water. One of the highlights was the convenient and affordable transportation the hotel arranged to and from Huangshan North Railway Station. At just 35 RMB during the day and 40 RMB at night per person, it was significantly cheaper than ride-hailing options, which cost about 130 RMB at night. The service was amazing as the staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. During check-in, the receptionist patiently explained the best route to take on the mountain and even shared helpful recommendations. I also appreciated the little touches, like being able to borrow walking sticks for free, which saved me from having to buy one. The location is excellent too—just a 10-minute walk to the Huangshan South Gate Entrance bus station, with a view of Huangshan right from the hotel. There is also a massage place and supermarket just a minute away, and the hotel has a restaurant which serves truly delicious food. Overall, this hotel made my Huangshan trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

I had an excellent stay here during my trip to Huangshan. Location is very convenient for getting to the mountain, with the entrance gate to the park only a 10 minute walk away. The room was spacious and clean, with lots of toiletries, towels, and water provided. The staff was very helpful, giving me pointers on how to get to the mountain, storing my luggage when I stayed on the mountain for one night, and arranging a reasonably priced (30 Yuan) van to take me to the Hongcun ancient village. On-site, there is also a restaurant offering delicious Anhui-style cuisine in very generous portions, and a small shop selling local teas and snacks. I ate at the restaurant every night during my stay, and conveniently it is open late, until 10 PM. The homestay feeling was quite charming too. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Huangshan.
