CHECKED IN AT 9 PM ON 8TH MARCH
STILL TOOK THEM HALF AN HOUR TO GIVE THE ROOM
TOOK ID CARD AND PHOTOS OF 6 MEMBERS
OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED BUT NEITHER THEY ALLOW DELIVERY BOY TO SEND THE FOOD TO ROOM NOR THEY DELIVER THEMSELVES
FLUSH WAS NOT WORKING
NO EXHAUST FAN IN BATHROOM
GUARD ASKING ABOUT ROOM NO IN FRONT OF RECEPTIONIST RUDELY WHEN WE RETURNED FROM OUTSIDE
NO BEDSHEET CHANGED IN 2 DAYS
LUGGAGE WAS NOT ALLOWED IN THE LIFT AND NO HELP WAS OFFERED.
WE HAD AN EXTRA PERSON BUT ONLY A DIRTY MATTRESS AND A TORN BLANKET WAS GIVEN WITH BEDSHEET AND PILLOW.

I received a confirmation email from The Howrah, but when I arrived they said that they had cancelled the reservation because they cannot have foreigners staying. They refused to refund the first night. I had to get a refund for the second. They put me out on the street at 1.30am, with no SIM, and I had to walk to find another hotel.. Still trying to get a refund for the first night (booked by my friend.) Terrible behaviour that stole my money and put me at risk.

Worst service, i was already late in checkin, almost took half an hour for checkin process. Checkin should be hassle free, it was almost a harassment for us. I booked premium deluxe paying extra amount still the room was not that great, service was worst.

The due diligence made at the reception at the point of entry was never seen before in my lifetime as a very wide traveller both for business and personal trips throughout india. It's very intense indeed. Right from the gate security to every service is top class.
