The outside and the grounds seemed clean. Inside there was a weird vinegar smell in the hallway, but the real fun began once in the room.
First off, the wall-unit AC made a noise that a passenger jet getting ready to taxi to a runway.
Second, the walls are thin. Spent most of the night listening to a Ketel One fueld party next door. I know the brand because an empty 1.75L bottle was sitting just outside.
Third, there was no hot water. It was just a bit warm. Also, the water pressure is so bad that the water just falls out of the showerhead instead of anything resembling a spray. The showerhead was set to the "massage" setting which allowed the water to basically drip forward a few inches instead of just straight down.
The breakfast I paid $10 a night for? Didn't happen. The staff said that "the guy responsible for breakfast didn't come in today". I would quit charging upfront for breakfast if I were them.
After a night of no sleep, the staff agreed to let me change rooms. Upon entering the room and turning on the light switch one of the lights blew out. The AC wasn't as noisy, but still didn't cool effectively. Set at 70 the room temp was closer to 80. Same issues with the lack of hot water and water pressure, plus the wifi quit working.
I wouldn't stay here again if it were free.
