Wanderstay Boutique Hotel

We loved our stay at Wanderstay Boutique Hotel. From checkin to checkout they made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The rooms are all so fun and unique. We really enjoyed the common areas. The location is fantastic. You can walk to several really great business like coffee shops, pizza/wine bars, breweries and restaurants. There is also a tram station right outside that can take you to an Astros game or many other place in Houston very easily. Cannot recommend enough!

It’s the perfect spot for a unique and relaxing escape. I loved the charm and I loved how cost friendly this hotel is. Great choice in a great neighborhood.

I don’t know where to start! Kelly was so accommodating and welcoming as soon as I walked in. You can definitely tell that they took their time with selecting the perfect lobby decor for this hotel to stand out! This is a MUST stay for anyone, but especially content creators. It will not disappoint from the decor alone. Each room has its own unique theme, and none of them are the same. I enjoyed my stay in the music room because I love music. There were real vinyl records and music designs on the walls throughout the room. The biggest PLUS to me was the robe and towel warmer in the room. The robe is hanging up when you walk in so please be prepared to RELAX! And the GRAND FINALE: I felt secured being that nobody could just wander on the Wanderstay premises. During the check in process, I received access codes to the entry gate, the lobby door, and my room. Now don’t say that I haven’t shared more than enough reasons for you to wonder any further about staying here! P.S. The proximity to downtown and local bars/restaurants in such a busy city made it that MORE enjoyable. More time in the hotel, and less time in traffic.

I had an exceptional experience at Wanderstay. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel. The rooms were not only stylishly decorated with photo-worthy themes but also featured incredibly comfortable beds and high-quality linens that made for a restful stay. The added touches, such as the towel warmers and cozy robes provided for each guest, truly enhanced the overall experience. The kitchen, dining, and communal areas were equally impressive. They were beautifully designed, combining elegance with functionality to create welcoming spaces where I felt right at home. The staff's attentiveness further elevated my stay; their service was prompt and friendly, making me feel valued throughout my visit. A highlight of my stay was meeting the owner, who shared the fascinating story behind the creation of the Wanderstay brand. Her passion and vision were truly inspiring. Additionally, I appreciated the convenience of free parking and the hotel's prime location near many of Houston's top attractions. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this hidden gem.

Had an awesome stay at this hotel! First, Kelly at the front desk as great! She was so pleasant and very attentive! I was instantly wowed by the look and design of the hotel! Each room had a different theme and that was fun! The beds were so comfortable and the plush robes were a treat! Also, the added bonus of a towel/robe warmer made it extra special! The hotel is even in a good area with restaurants in walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

Wanderstay didn’t disappoint at all . From the time we walked in we were greeted by a host soo friendly and welcoming . The pictures on the website reflecting everything in the hotel . The detailing of each room was everything and the towel warmer and rob ahhh mazing . Would stay here agian forsure.

UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER RESPONSE The owner of this establishment reached out to me on Instagram via her personal AND business accounts to berate me for my review. Prior to this, I contemplated taking my review down because it was an isolated incident with one staff member. But after being cyber bullied by the owner, I stand by my review after seeing that poor customer service starts at the top.

Extremely disappointed! Went to view the facility for an influencer event, and the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. The website photos fail to capture the horrible parking, inconvenient entrance and dormitory style rooms. I really wanted to like this place, but beware.
