My family and I just stayed at the JW Marriott in Khao Lak and had a fantastic experience! The rooms were spacious, with big, comfy beds and natural product toiletries. Every morning, the breakfast spread was delicious and varied, featuring freshly squeezed juices and authentic Thai coffee made with high-quality ingredients. The kid's area offered daily activities, and bike rentals were easy; I highly recommend biking around the beautiful gardens. The service was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The pool area was impressive—it's the biggest pool I've seen at any property! Plus, direct beach access was a wonderful bonus. If I return to Khao Lak, I would definitely stay here again with my family!

Beautiful hotel really new and modern,room is large and great style. The staff very friendly thanks to Stefan,Milk and Moo for taking care during the stay professional services from them. I will definitely come back in future.

1) I booked a sea view room, but was given a room on the fourth floor. It's hard to understand how this room can be called a sea view room. The lower part of the balcony is solid, and the upper part is soil and grass (actually the lobby roof). Can you imagine that when you sit, you can only see a wall. How depressing it is. When you stand, you can barely see the sea through the grass. I'm not talking about discrimination, just talking about the facts. The next day, I moved to the sixth floor, which was a completely different experience. Unfortunately, I saw an update written on the paper? ? I would like to ask, in addition to the floor, are there any differences between the upper and lower room types? . When I booked the room, I checked both Ctrip and Marriott apps just to see the sea. The next level of sea view room is pool, and there is no higher-level sea view than the current sea view. 2) The breakfast replenishment is not fast enough. I wanted to drink milk but it didn't come after 10 minutes. The fish balls in the rice noodles were sour. Coffee and tea were served by themselves. There were no paper towels on the table (I really don't understand this). Maybe it's environmentally friendly, but you say environmentally friendly, but plastic bags are used casually. 3) The bath water is hot and cold, and it is basically not constant temperature. 4) During the stay, a credit card was suddenly suspended. Fortunately, I locked the cardless transaction when I went abroad. I checked for a long time but couldn't tell what the problem was. The amount was not small. I didn't suspect it was stolen, but it was really a lot of trouble to check and refund it if I really swiped it wrong. 5) The hotel did not do a good job of mosquito prevention in places with lawns. One was at the entrance of the lido and the other was the lawn for watching open-air movies. There were mosquitoes everywhere. There were very, very, very many. This is almost never encountered in a five-star island hotel. But I have to say that the scenery is quite good and very good. It can make up for a lot. It is still a happy journey

We stayed at the resort for two nights with the all inclusive package and had a blast. Everything about our stay was truly enjoyable. The check in was smooth and the staff really polite and service minded, We booked the standard room but the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to a larger deluxe room as we had requested to be as close to the sea as possible. We were so happy with the upgrade. The room was spacious, clean, modern and had a large bathroom with a huge bathtub. The view was really nice and you could hear the waves from the beach in the morning and evenings. Perfect for me, my partner and our 2-year old. If we would return, we would book the deluxe room for sure. The breakfast had everything you could wish for and more. On top of that, the surrounding in the breakfast restaurant felt calm and relaxing so we could really enjoy our breakfast. We liked the gym. It was small but very nice and clean with everything you need. It was open 24/7 which we appreciate. The all inclusive package was worth every penny. The food was delicious and we especially loved the little coffee shop by the reception area. The staff there were really polite and sweet. During sunset we sat by the beachbar and enjoyed the stunning scenery with a glass of ice cold sparkling wine. We saw a few restaurants and massage houses close to the resort but never made a visit since we had the all inc. package.

We stayed at the hotel for 14 nights, the hotel fully met our expectations. Normer booked a deluxe with an ocean view, in her wishes she asked not for the first floor, the hotel took my request into account, they gave us a room on the second floor. The room itself is spacious, has everything you need - a hair dryer, a safe, hangers, wardrobes with built-in lighting, a TV (we connected a laptop via HDMI and watched movies), a small balcony, on the balcony there are very comfortable adirondacks and a dryer. We chose the hotel for its price/quality ratio, location and two large swimming pools. The hotel grounds are very large, green, it feels like you are walking in a garden, monitor lizards roam, fish swim, you can feed them. There are two large pools and a slide. The beach is quite good, the lighthouse smooths out the waves a little. There are enough sun loungers, if suddenly there are not enough, the staff puts out more sun loungers, there are swings on the beach. The water is muddy, opaque because the waves lift the sand, a couple of times when there were waves it brought garbage from the sea, but this does not apply to the hotel. In the reviews they write that the hotel is tired, I would say that it has a slightly outdated design, yes, it is, but for us it is not a hindrance. In general, everything is painted, clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Towels are changed every day, they give out 2 sets of beach towels so that you always have one clean set. Cleaning is generally normal, as everywhere in Thailand, we are not demanding in this regard. Change of bed linen on request, do not put a sign on the bed, they will change the linen. The usual hair dryer is quite weak, if you want to curl your hair, take your own. A separate plus of the hotel is its location, you can walk along the territory and get out at the poppy - in the center of old Khao Lak. There is a large parking lot for hotel guests. Breakfasts are the same every day, but you can diversify your menu with a lot of different food: sausages, bacon, vegetables, rice, noodles, beans, croutons, pancakes, eggs will be cooked in front of you at your request - scrambled eggs, omelette (with or without filling) or they will bring poached or boiled eggs to the table. Fruits: pineapples, papaya, pitaya, watermelon, melon, coffee from the machine is quite good for a hotel, there are toasters, jams, chocolate paste, in general, quite standard. Next to the hotel there is an O cafe - we went several times, good cuisine and reasonable prices, Thai cuisine, there are European dishes, sandwiches and burgers. We used the laundry services in this cafe 60 baht / kg they return clean and fragrant things the next day. There is a massage nearby and on the beach they also do it like everywhere else, in general it's normal.

Overall a fantastic holiday experience. Rooms are nicely done up, clean and relaxing . Staff are warm, welcoming, super helpful and friendly . Especially Nu who took great care of us . Great breakfast selection and super yummy. Great setup at kids room which also catered to older kids with Pingpong table , ball machine, arcade games and other selection. Staff at beach station were super helpful, all ready to help , SUP , boogie boards and kayaks available for use without charge. You really don’t have to go anywhere , just relax at the beautiful Sandy beach. Kids also played volleyball almost every evening with other guests . Impressive fire show one night We will definitely come back here .

Doesn't provide toothbrush/toothpaste until you request, they also don't give you sufficient as I stayed there 3night, asked to buy my own toothpaste. But location is good if you want to be by the beach else it's kinda far from everywhere, best to have your own transport if you plan to go out, altho there is PAID shuttle service to ban hiang. But this place knows how to squeeze you it's pretty in nowhere. They have a convenience shop at hotel front which is pricey. Cleanliness is ok, but considering old hotel, you get some dirty corners. And bed was tad hard, tv limited channels.

Checking in on New Year's Eve, the hotel arranged a Chinese New Year buffet, a fireworks show on the beach, and you can watch the Spring Festival Gala in the room, which is very good. Stayed for three nights. There is no need to get up early in the morning. It is very convenient to go to Similan and Surin. The room with direct access to the swimming pool is a favorite of the children. They can jump into the swimming pool at any time. The tomahawk steak at Drift is also great.

The accommodation was excellent, the pool-access room was perfectly designed and maintained and offered an excellent experience during the hot weather. The hotel is perfectly and conveniently located, a short walk to the streets where good restaurants and shops are located. It was a lovely leisure stay. Perhaps the resort could work on bettering customer service, as we were rarely greeted or acknowledged (although my husband and I did) whenever we entered or exited the restaurants (Malila, Cocos) for the whole 7 days. We had to physically approach them in order to get service like ordering food or drinks.

Very big hotel, right on the sea. If you stay in the building, it's a bit of a walk. The room is good, the bed is so soft it sucks your soul. The staff takes good care of you and is attentive. At first, I informed them that the pipe at the sink smelled bad, so the staff rushed to come and look at it immediately. When I took a shower, I realized that the smell was like hand soap because it smelled the same as the shampoo soap. I apologize to the staff. 😅 There are a lot of breakfast options to choose from and it's delicious. I'm very impressed with the hotel, except for the smell of the amenities for me. For toothbrushes, slippers, and shower caps, you can ask the staff via the app.
