Upon arriving at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel, I was greeted with great hospitality. As I was unfamiliar with the surroundings just after getting off the car, my Driver called the Hotel for assistance. The Hotel is located inside a PEDESTRIAN ZONE. Shortly after the call, Siao Dong came to my drop-off point to help me with my luggage and assisted me to check in. She also carried my Baggage to My Room 2303 at Level 3 as there is no Lift Facility here. I thanked here very much as I would have problems carrying my Baggage as I am over 77 years of age. This Ancient City is truly a wonderful place, and the hotel environment is quite pleasant as well. There are lots of variety of local food and snacks. The Hotel also assisted to book a Group Tour to visit Nanjing Toulou and a Private to Fujian Toulou.
Also arranged for my private transport by Car to my Hotel in Xiamen.

Perfect location to combine business trip and sightseeing. Free perfect welcome tea in the room, dried lychee for a snack was a nice little surprise... And huge selection of food for a breakfast! Very kind personnel who helped with connection to wifi to me via its own phone number (i don't have local Chinese number as well as Wechat account). Thank you my friend, it was really helpful for my business trip!
Strictly recommend to foreigners who dont speak Chinese but speak English even a little.

The location is very convenient to the ancient streets and there are a lot of restaurants close by. The building has a good view of the city and it is right next to the creek/lake. The room was clean. The staff generally was very friendly and helpful except one girl who was impatient answering our request for food recommendations. We got a cold answer that all information is included in the PDF file they sent and we just need to turn left after walking out. Other than that, we were happy with our stay at this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the ancient city, and very convenient for wandering around. Several families traveled together. The tree house facilities were very good and unique. The park landscape was naturally beautiful. The children had a lot of fun in the cute pet park. The mountain spring fish caught by the men was also very delicious. In the evening, we had a barbecue and a bonfire. It was a very happy leisure experience.

The location of the homestay is very good. In the ancient city, there are treasure snack bars around. The guides are punched in one by one. The parking lot is very close to walk for 2 minutes. If there are a lot of luggage, you can let the homestay find someone to pick you up. The room is medium in size, clean and tidy, the facilities are very new, it is very comfortable to live, you can bring pets, you will receive a little deposit, there is no problem with the habitual pets.

The guy with glasses at the front desk spoke softly and was very nice. He was very considerate and reminded me of the breakfast options. He also took the initiative to remind me that there were welcome fruits in the room. Since I checked in late, the guy took the initiative to explain that the chef had gone off work and asked about the time period for the next day. The whole process made me feel valued and cared for, and the experience was good.
The room and environment are very good, and there are also battery park and seaside promenades nearby for strolling

GGuest UserWe stayed on the 3rd floor in a family suit with 5 people - two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, spacious. Excellent location to explore Yunshuiyao and visit both Hakka houses Huaiyuanlou and Heguilou along the river within walking distance. Excellent service - free afternoon tea and fruits in the evening. Restaurant also is very good. Reception helped us with the car for to visit Tianluokeng cluster.

DDarylAs it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

GGuest UserThis is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host.

XXiaoxiaodou～🏨The B&B is a large farmhouse. It has three stores in Yunshuiyao. It is relatively strong. The Yunshuichan we stayed in is a two-story building. However, because there are not many people living there, the store upgraded the first floor of Xijentang with a courtyard. The room is large, clean and well-equipped. There is a parasol in the yard. You can sit in the yard to drink tea and play cards, but barbecues are not allowed.
🙋The waiter added WeChat in advance, and the service was warm and thoughtful. He informed us of the route. When he arrived at the entrance of the folk custom, he took the initiative to greet us, guide us in parking and help carry our luggage.
💰The price is slightly more expensive than most B&Bs in Yunshuiyao, but the environment, hardware facilities and courtyards are also of a higher grade, which is a high-quality experience. Secondly, we upgraded the room type during the off-season~ so it’s still good~
🎵Soundproofing is average, a common problem in most hotels.
🏡The yard is very large, with a small lake containing 🐟 and 🐢, and a fish pond with koi carps and bonsai arrangements. It is very touching and comfortable.
✨The night view is beautiful. It is recommended that friends who stay here can go for a walk downstairs at night~
🍵The B&B provides free afternoon tea, sit by the stream and listen to the flowing water from the small bridge~
🗺️The entire Yunshuiyao is relatively remote... We drove there. After entering the village, the road was narrow and not easy to drive. Yunshuichan can be reached as soon as you enter the village, so you don't have to walk many narrow roads, but there is also a short walk to Dashui Chezhu Scenic Area, which takes about 8 minutes. The location is pretty good ~

The main purpose of staying here is to be a comfortable petty bourgeoisie. In short, it is highly recommended. It is rare to find a mountain B&B that is better in all aspects😋

SStuart TeoWe got a free upgrade as we are visiting during the lull period. The nice room is nicely equipped, nicely maintained, and has a large balcony looking out at the river. Both the day and night views are amazing. Special shout out to Whitney Huang who took very good care of us at breakfast.
We got free entrance to the onsen area as part of the hotel stay - which was amazing.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the Tulou, and there are free tours of the Tulou. The included dinner is delicious, and the wine selection is super tasteful. The room is fully equipped and the bedding is very comfortable, but the overall hard decoration and bathroom can only be said to be ordinary, probably because of the renovation and preservation of the original traces. The butler service is considerate and in place.

XXiongmaoren房間整體都可以，適合一家幾口帶上小孩長者，各自有一間房子，最滿意就是看了幾場煙花，燒了有十多分鐘，不知道是公寓安排還是個人在那燒，反正這個煙花另入住體驗感加分不少。
設施：冰箱太小而且衹是保鮮，沒速凍功能，自備食物不太方便，
衞生：乾淨很好
環境：地下車庫通往公寓電梯方向太黑了，燈光衹有幾處感應燈而且是很暗的，建議換大點瓦數的燈！
服務：早餐春節期間年初三早上吃基本沒什麼吃，品種少，入住人多，估計是員工放假了，人員忙不過來公寓沒合理安排好，而且是很早7點多就去到吃已經沒多少了。年初四就很好了，品種多不斷增加食物！

FFranscios MichaelI have stayed at quite a few Wanda hotels in the past and always had a pleasant experience but the past two days were anything but pleasant. I had a two night stay in Zhangzhou Wanda Realm from the 22nd of January to the 24th of January. I have listed my grievances below.
1. Air-conditioning does not work. My room was a constant temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and even after turning on the air conditioning did the temperature not go down. I had to ask the hotel to open a window to decrease the temperature and thus let polluted air into the room.
2. I booked an executive room knowing that I would receive some benefits. Not only was the executive lounge closed but as stated in the notice, they requested we use the hotel lobby bar which was also closed. I paid 850RMB per night for this room. If I am not going to have the benefits of an executive room at least refund me.
3. Swimming pool times have drastically decreased to limited times. I know that this is Chinese New year but isn't this the time when the hotel would receive most of its guests and thus have all the amenities ready and working to make a guest stay very pleasant.
4. Breakfast buffet was below standard of a 4 star hotel. Not only was the selection of foods extremely basic but the food was severely under stock. One would think that a four star hotel would be able to plan for a busy time like Chinese New year but no, there was limited food on basic items like eggs and bacon. Staff were not prepared for such large amounts of people.
5. It seems like this hotel is closing down as many water features and other amenities are either out of order or not working properly. It is an embarrassment to call this hotel a luxury hotel. It has the facade of a luxury hotel but cannot deliver on basic amenities.

The staff were very friendly and tried to help where they can but it would be better to close down this hotel than call it a luxury 4 star hotel.

GGuest UserIt was most unusual that we had to pay in advance CNY1,000 when we checked in for only 1 night. Our room rate was CNY427. The following morning when we checked out, the CNY1,000 was refunded immediately and then we paid the actual bill.
The lobby, elevator and room were clean and nice. Huge bathtub, spacious room.
As our group of 8 checked in late, we had buffet dinner in the hotel. Most of the food dishes were almost empty but the staff were helpful in specially preparing dishes for us. The seafood was fresh but the steak and the other meat dishes of pork, chicken, etc were tough and inedible.
