Hotel Hot Springs Barcelona Province

Stay in Hesperia hotel was really comfy and pleasent. Everything’s cool beside location which is problematic.

Hotel was conveniently connected to a mall and within a 15-min taxi ride from Barcelona Sants train station. Room was clean with a bathtub in the toilet. Check-in was fast and smooth with polite staff. Overall a very pleasant stay with easy access to food and shopping right at the doorstep.

For the amenities, I am referring to the room. Defect fridge door, very difficult to open the water in the shower, defect USB sockets, curtain can only 90% automatically close and some small things more. This is not the W standard I experienced before. Everything else as usual at W hotels. Very friendly service (can't give 5 points because I was waiting for my room unnecessarily long), nice restaurants with fantastic food, including breakfast.

The bathroom is very quiet. The facilities are well cared. The attention is very good. The restaurant's food is excellent. We will repeat.

The room is very spacious and clean, the scenery is also very good, I like the bar very much, so I stay here every time I go there, it is very beautiful, there is also Chinese service, all facilities are very complete, parking is also convenient, great 👍

Highly recommended for friends who come to Barcelona to play in the sea! Low-budget resort hotel The train takes about 40 minutes from Barcelona to Mataro Station. The scenery along the coastline is great! If you stay longer, you can go to the beach at other stations. The hotel is very new and cost-effective, almost the level of Atour in China. There is a coffee machine, bathrobe, slippers, and some drinks in the mini bar. Breakfast is included, and the breakfast is quite rich. The fishing port in front of the hotel is beautiful, the sea is also beautiful, there are few people, but the beach is not very clean, it is still good to sit down and enjoy the scenery. If you want to swim, you can come to the hotel swimming pool, there are also few people.

This is a good place. We have been living with my wife for three years. This time they have done a good renovation. There is not much room for the old hotel. Of course the price has risen. Overall it has become a lot colder. What we are not happy about is the price increase in the spa, so we did not go there and the hotel is very chic)

Great hotel option for a Barcelona city stay. We really liked this hotel at the edge of Barcelona city. This hotel is still within zone 1 of Barcelona so you can use a 1 zone public transport to get to and from almost anywhere in Barcelona. The location is pretty good but it is a bit close to the La Mina neighborhood which is a poorer neighborhood of Barcelona. There have been improvements in the neighborhood but it is still recommended to stick to the areas that are near the hotel or the south and west of the hotel (towards the sea) if you plan to stay out late at night. We found the area very convenient for us as we arrived early morning and the Forum metro station is nice and the area immediately near the hotel has reasonable level of security and local police presence. The hotel reception and team was very cordial and serviceable. The room we got was very good, had a nice balcony and it overlooks the nearby student accommodation so it was silent at night. Breakfast was very tasty and had enough of a food variety + delicious breads and iberico ham.

I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel” From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true... Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast) Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor. Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely. Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain... Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels... The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment. Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease) Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics) Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks) Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked) Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky? Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room) Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk) Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk? Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️ As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward) I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there? The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works? Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself. Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel. Now for the positives... The view from the room of the sea is beautiful It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced. The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.
