Well designed hostel, spacious and the luggage storage is the best in size and design. The shoe area where guests should change into indoor slippers is a good idea and most follow but there are still many who walk around in their outside shoes. Not good. The place is supposed to be smoke free but the stink of spent cigarette smoke is strong around the toilets, showers even the women's. Some of the staff smoke in their room (near the common area/'kitchen' ). There is a plastic curtain that separates the veranda area from the inside of the building however smoke can still waft in especially the back veranda where a whole pane of the curtain has broken off. The cleaning staff worked super hard clearing the trash, hair , water and footprints . It gets cleaner outside the weekend.

We had a three-day and two-night trip to Hangzhou. Because of limited funds, we decided to stay in a youth hostel this time. The youth hostel we stayed in was Kepler Planet. The six-person room for females cost more than 60 yuan per person. We spent more than 120 yuan for two days, which we thought was a good deal. The front desk lady at the youth hostel was really nice. There was a problem with the air conditioning in the room, so we applied for a room change. Because the room was full, we were upgraded. Our youth hostel is close to Baoshanqiao subway station, and the transportation to West Lake and Lingyin Temple is very convenient. Friends who need to travel to Hangzhou can refer to it.

I've tried many hostels since I'm traveling and this one is probably amoung the best I've been to. The place is very friendly and warm and there is many things to do (instruments, board games, TV...).
The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is perfect (best shower room I had in 3 month of different hostels !).
Overall, I really liked staying in this hostel. Thank you for the staff to make this place that welcoming ! If I come back to Hangzhou I will definitely come back here :)

I like this Jianzhierqi Youth Hostel very much! The decoration style here is very beautiful, and the atmosphere in the store is also very good. It is very close to West Lake and Wulin Square. You can take the subway or bus to get there, and the transportation is very convenient. The store has 24-hour air conditioning and smart toilets, which can be heated in winter. The ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic and organize groups to play Werewolf every day. They are all young people and get along very well. There are also very cute cats in the store, and occasionally festival activities are organized. There is a free microwave in the lobby, and the service attitude is very good. There is also a separate TV room and study room, which is highly recommended!

This youth hostel is really worth recommending. I stay in youth hostels in every city I visit, and sometimes I change to another one after staying for two or three days, so I stay in many youth hostels.
Before, there were cockroaches on the bed in another youth hostel in Hangzhou. I don’t want to complain about it, but after I moved to this one, it was newly opened and the entire decoration style should be in line with the aesthetics of young people. The public area is clean and hygienic, and the entire bed looks very clean and tidy. There is a row of showers, a row of washrooms, and a row of toilets in the public area. The separate areas are well planned. There are only beds for accommodation in the room, and I personally prefer this layout.
In this way, there will be no smell of food in the room, or water stains after washing, and of course, there will be no smell of the bathroom. The bedroom is relatively clean and comfortable.
Let’s talk about the lighting. The accommodation conditions must be ventilated, which is done very well. There is a special area for hanging clothes after washing clothes. Of course, it is recommended that you still put valuable clothes in the public area.
I have stayed in several youth hostels in Hangzhou and I still recommend this one.
By the way, one last thing to add: there is a big fat cat in this youth hostel and those who like cats can pet it.

The luckiest thing about this trip was staying in this youth hostel! The location is excellent, and the surrounding transportation hubs are close at hand, so you can easily go wherever you want to go. The room is clean and bright, the bed is neat and odorless, and the public area facilities are also complete.
The atmosphere here is great. Every night everyone sits together to share travel stories, with constant laughter. There are a lot of social activities, organizing board games and watching movies together, which quickly brings people closer together and makes traveling alone not lonely. The staff is warm and considerate, and they are always responsive, helping to plan routes and answer various questions. Living here not only has a comfortable experience, but also makes a group of like-minded friends. Next time I come to this city, I will definitely choose it again!

The hostel is great, 1 lady in night shift spoke very good english and help me a lot for my needs,i forgot to ask her name. Due note that most of the guests are local so cleanliness in common area isnt top notch. You need to buy disposable towel in the machine. Personally i wont book to stay in hostel again in china due to the room mates. Its gona be hit or miss. The first room they gave me are full of rude roommates they hang panties by the entrance door and kept all their shoes and luggages by my bedside and i used google translate to ask one of them to please move it to their locker or bedside cos i dont have space to move. Then she said her bag is too big to fit in the locker. So i told her you can put it on your bedside, at first she said ok but suddenly she start shouting at me like ***. I have to call the staff to deal with her cos she wont stop screaming at me. The staff moved me to a different room with less people and normal room mates thankfully. Again its not the hostel's fault just be aware that you might encounter these kind of people of you decide to book hostels in china

A great youth hostel experience that must be praised. The youth hostel I chose to stay in during this trip was really great! The location is excellent, right at the A2 exit of the subway. It’s very convenient to travel. It’s just one stop away from Tianjie and there are all kinds of food and shopping nearby. The environment of the youth hostel is clean and tidy, and the public areas are very warmly decorated. It is easy to make friends from all over the place, and the atmosphere is great. The beds are clean and comfortable, and you can sleep peacefully. Each bed is equipped with a thoughtful light and socket, which is full of details.
The staff are also very warm and friendly. If you have any questions, they can help solve them in time, which makes you feel extra warm. The price-performance ratio is very high, and you can enjoy such a great accommodation experience for a small amount of money. I sincerely recommend it to all travelers and will choose this youth hostel for future trips! The dogs in the store can also bounce rubber bands, which is really cute.

JJovin GohIt's a youth hostel, so I guess you get what you pay for-- general pros and cons of a general hostel/capsule hotel applies. '
However, I must say that the service is exceptional.
Initially, I didn't quite enjoy my stay there due to the corridors smelling abit weird, (plus Hangzhou having a general issue of cigarette smoke being almost everywhere) plus all the other cons of a typical capsule hotel, plus other miscellaneous issues such as the laundry machine also relying on having an alipay WALLET, (which, as a foreigner, I did not have) or my locker having issues, but, the staff at the hostel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, helping me find a way to get my laundry done, my locker fixed. I felt that they knew what they were doing and I didn't feel too worried my entire time there.
The staff also were very helpful in giving directions, recommending food, and even with parcel collection. I am not really quite sure what else to say here, I just felt that they were super friendly and sweet, and willing to help with any queries I had. (Once again, thank you so much, if you guys are reading this, I literally cannot stress this enough, thank you, thank you for helping me, thank you for making my stay so enjoyable)
Additionally, the vibe there is amazing. Although I came with low expectations and no intention to make friends, I somehow (credit to my travel buddy) made many new friends and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, speaking with them, overall interaction. The whole place just has this nice chill vibe and they've also got lots of games there, and a nice pool table. The concert night was quite fun too, got to see a nice rendition of 后来 (刘若英/Rene Liu) by one of the performers.
Perhaps I'd do it again.

JJingjing2032The room is clean and tidy, and the girls are clean. However, the bad things are also obvious:
1. The lights are dim on the second floor, and when you get out of the elevator, there is a smoking area with a strong smell of second-hand smoke.
2. The public space at the front desk is almost occupied by men, and the key is that everyone eats all kinds of takeout there, and the smell is very pungent.
3. I booked the second floor, and the lights are dim. The actual check-in is on the third floor. The name of the youth hostel is called ”Select x Er Qi”. I forgot. The decoration style is the same, but the key is that it also smells of smoke, and the takeaway area is occupied by men.
4. Suggestion, since there are two floors, one for men and one for all women. Isn't it good? The second-hand smoke is really unbearable. The girls are equivalent to having no public space. In the space where the piano is placed, a group of old men are eating takeout. Arrange a dedicated restaurant. After all, there are so many people. We girls really need a clean and tidy public space for all women

GGuest UserIt is very close to the place where I will travel for work and training. It is a cost-effective youth hostel in the ”Hangzhou Manhattan” area. The room is also relatively spacious. The sheets, pillows and bedding are very clean. It is right next to the subway station and has convenient transportation. There are many restaurants nearby.

BBy002007Very good location; friendly front desk staff. This hostel has been around for a long time and is showing its age. I was surprised to be told I had to pay for hand soap given that I was staying in one of the single rooms and was paying over $40 a night. I don't think that's ever happened to me while traveling in China. Toilet paper and towels were also very threadbare. The hostel is probably best for solo travelers looking for super cheap bunks - at the single-room price point, there are many options in Hangzhou that are more modern and provide more amenities.

GGuest UserI stayed here for two days from July 4th. As a Japanese woman in my 30s who was generally looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, please see the following impressions.
The location is very good. There is a public bus stop right in front of the hotel, and there are several bus stops for other routes within a 5-minute walk. If you are going to visit the West Lake Scenic Area, it is very convenient to use the bus, so the location of the hotel is very good. In particular, it is about an 8-minute walk to the West Lake, so you can enjoy the West Lake from early in the morning until late at night.
Actually, when I told them about my stay, I arrived at the hotel a little earlier than the check-in time, but the room was ready, so I was able to leave my luggage there. I was also able to complete the check-in procedure. The owner of the hotel helped me with the app when he found out that my Chinese was halting.
When foreigners stay in some countries, they are required to register with the police, but when I told him that I had never ridden an electric motorcycle, the owner of the hotel let me ride on the back of his motorcycle and went to the police station with him. The owner and another woman work at the inn, and they were really supportive of laundry, water server, and room cleaning during my stay.
The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The maximum temperature was 39 degrees every day during my stay, so it was a relief to return to a room that was well cooled by the air conditioner. The shower booth was really small, but the water pressure and temperature of the shower were just right, so I was able to stay comfortably.
My room was on the main road, but thanks to the comfortable room environment, I was able to sleep well, although the traffic noise was a bit bothersome.
There was also a row of large plane trees along the main road, and the sunlight filtering through the trees in the morning was beautiful.
For people like me who are looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, this inn is perfect.
This time I stayed in the summer, so I would like to visit in the winter next time. Of course, I will definitely stay at this inn next time.
The owner's true enthusiasm for entertaining me was so strong. I'm so excited. I want to go to your trip to blue again.

XXiyilanmingFugui is a cat in Baobao Youth Hostel. He is very well behaved and can be petted. Baobao Youth Hostel is in a very good location. Subway Wulinmen Line 3 is very convenient to take a taxi downstairs. It is also very close to West Lake. The starting price is 1. The owner is very kind and likes to share the food and beautiful scenery of Hangzhou. I will go there next time.

YYishangjieduiIt is booked for this excellent location, facing the exterior wall of Hu Xueyan's old residence, crossing the road is the Drum Tower and Hefang Street, and it is only seven or eight minutes walk from the subway station. The bus stop is just outside. The environment is better than I expected. I didn’t have a comfortable experience. The room was still relatively clean and there was no smell. Except for the toilet door, there was no place that was too shabby and there was no sound insulation, but I was too tired to sleep at night. Very dead, the front desk service is also very good. And I didn't want to deposit money, why did someone in the comment area say that I want to deposit?

After going upstairs, I changed into slippers first. Everyone who checked in wore slippers. The room was very tidy and the quilt cover was made by oneself. Although the bathroom was public, it was very spacious and very clean. The check-in experience was very good. There were snacks around. It was close to The 1314 bus stop is also not far away, the first choice for visiting West Lake!

MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe visited the Daisy Youth Hostel, on our most recent trip to Hangzhou.
The owner and front of house, were friendly and we were well received.
The check in service was prompt.
Unfortunately, the room was not made up, when we were taken to our room.
Regardless, ”It was however dealt with, and it was cleaned while we waited”.
Sadly, we still noticed embedded dirt, this needs to be addressed by the management.
As no visitor would like a filthy environment.
The location is prime, especially for visitors whom wish to visit the scenic areas.
We extended our stay with another day, as we were still exploring the area.
Unfortunately, our room was not serviced, even though we paid for another night.
Overall, the Daisy Youth Hostel has lots of potential, and could be ideal for visitors to the area.
