"We loved our stay here. The reception staff are so helpful. They put us in touch with a lovely family (Miriam and family) who provide a wonderful taxi service all over the island. They are the best place to go for any advice. Food was very good. But the best part was the amazing views from the dining room which looks out across the swimming pool to Mt Pico. The clouds change by the minute and the sunsets are fabulous. Take your camera. You can sit inside or out. You get the same view from rooms facing the harbour. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located right in the centre of Horta with easy access to the port. The rooms are basic but are great value for money with the most amazing view of Pico. If you like a nice coffee in the morning, take a trip to A Padaria just down the street."

"Great place to stay in Horta, just a few minute’s drive or 10 minutes’ walk to the town center, and great views across the bay to the Monte. Access to the building and room was through door codes, so easy check-in. Our room had a nice sea/mountain view, plenty of windows, was clean and comfortable. Next to our room was the very nice communal kitchen for preparing and eating meals – really a great asset. The AC worked well, as did the Wifi internet. We really enjoyed are stay here and would definitely stay here again."

"The large rooms all come with a lovely balcony and view. The restaurant is good and so is the bar (also with a nice view) It's a bit up hill from the main part of town and harbor, although we walked it a number of times and there are plenty of taxis if you don't feel like a walk. We really enjoyed our stay."

Casa da Baía - Guest House

"What a special place! The staff are friendly and accommodating, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the rooms are well designed with comfortable beds and good showers. Located next to the Marina it's well placed to head out for a meal or a walk around Horta but despite being in a busy area the double glazing and shutters meant that we weren't disturbed by traffic. I'd really love to come back one day"
