Millstone Country Inn

The food is superb! I don't usually eat chilli con carne but I did not regret ordering this. It's so tasty together with the nachos! Thank you for the additional rice! Well recommended! The staff are lovely and nice! Nice view for a chill time after hike.

Booked on a deal, after visiting would rebook without waiting for a 'deal'. Our room/bathroom was spotless well decorated and furnished. Infact the 1st place we've stayed that provides two armchairs. Generally end up with one sitting on a lone chair and the other on the bed. Also provide the absolute best biscuits on the t.tray.. Sad I know. Lounge/dining area quite large but cozy. Several little areas with armchairs coffee table ideal for coffee and a read. Menus were wht you would expect in a country in. Good products , tasty and well presented. Great location for visiting David Mellor shop, museum well worth a visit. Also 10mins from Chatsworth House. The inn is spotlessly clean with friendly staff, a shout out to Harry. For families there is a table that provides games for both children and adults, jigsaw puzzles a couple of books. Ideal for when the weather isn't ideal for trekking around. Only slight negative - if staying on the top floor the staircase is rather narrow & steep however a member of staff did offer to carry our cases up. Also could be reached by wider staircase external. All in all well worth a visit

Great stop at Millstone Inn with the family. We enjoyed the hospitality and the kids were able to play on the patio. There was free parking and the breakfast was good. Everyone was very kind and we recommend staying here to anyone in the area..
