Great place to stay if you decided to head up to the northern cape. Also it is a 15 mins drive to a view point to see the northern light. Also a 10 mins drive to the town for food.
FYI: road to north cape will be closed if weather condition is bad, so cater more than 1 night here if you really want to go up to the north cape in winter.

Hotel View is located in a former barracks of the Norwegian Army. But it is fully renovated, but does not have an elevator (soldiers do not use elevators in barracks ;)) The room I had could be a bit larger but was very clean, modern and quiet with a nice view down to the bay. Service-personnel was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Booked for wedding anniversary. Disabled people are welcome! Jacuzzi and Sauna are so relaxing place included! Staff and manager so welcome with best intentions to come back! Manager so kind with transportation to the town and shopping!

Second year in a row we stay in The View and another great experience. Ayako, the Lady in charge is outstanding for making us feel like being home. The rooms are very comfortable. The view is unique. Thank you so much! We will come again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel! The staff were all extremely friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was great and left nothing to be desired. Of course, the view of the sea from the hotel was very impressive! it was a nice stay. It's a shame that we could only stay one night.

I stayed here one night, and i absolutely loved it! First and foremost, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. She told me to feel like home, that i could sit in the restaurant if i needed to work on my computer, that i could get coffee/tea whenever i liked, and if i needed anything i could just call her. She really made me feel like home. The hotel feels and looks very new and fresh, very chic and stylish, and so did my room. The room was rather small but big enough for me, and the bed was comfortable and i absolutely loved the bathroom. It had a rain shower, and it was clean and fresh. I went out for some take away dinner, and when i got back the lady insisted i ate it at the hotel restaurant and she got me cutlery, put on some lovely music and cozy light. I think this is probably one of the friendliest and most customer service friendly places i have ever stayed. The next morning i got my breakfast served on a plate at the time we had agreed upon. It was like this because there was so few guests at the time, so it’s no use to make a buffé for just a few people. And i kinda liked it. I love their profile, which is environmental friendly, and it shows in everything they do. 10/10.

We arrived quite late and were warmly welcome at the reception, rooms we selected were small and yet very clean and effective, service was good, personnel very friendly and breakfast very good. We warmly recommend this hotel for a short stay too visit North Cape.

Disclaimer: we did not actually sleep at the hotel, because the road to reach Honningsvag was closed due to a snow storm. We did not think about checking the road conditions before booking our non-refundable room, but we received a kind message from the hotel in the morning of our arrival to inform us that the road was closed :-( We then drove as far as we could and waited to see if the road would be opened that day. After several hours waiting we've been informed that the road would not be opened before the next day - it was around 9pm and we did not have any other option booked... but that's another story ;-) While we were waiting, we kept in touch with the friendly staff of the hotel, and got to be reimbursed for the night we've not been able to stay there - even if it was a non-refundable fare. We will definitely stay there the next time we try to reach the Cape North!

This simple hotel serves its purpose in the remote area of Honingsvag, serving many patrons who are eager to travel the 30 minutes to Nordkapp, the northernmost point in Europe. The hotel is simply appointed with functional rooms including all the basics. The view was much, but it overlooks part of the small city from a higher perch. The single employee we met at the desk was quite knowledgeable and recommended a place for dinner. We were arriving late, so his help was terrific, including storing some medicine for us in the kitchen refrigerator. A modest breakfast was included.
