We were moved to the hotel when our original was overbooked, so didn’t actively plan to stay there. From first arriving, the staff were absolutely charming, very friendly and helpful. Positives: we were given a junior suite, which was ideal as it offered ample space, with a separate seating area, small balcony and a dual aspect. The food was great, particularly the tasting menu (see pics). The bar menu is extremely reasonable and offers a good choice of meals. The air conditioned room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable with sufficient pillows. The bar and restaurant were very well appointed with fragrant jasmine bushes. Negatives: communication around restaurant opening times was poor, resulting in my husband and I missing dinner on Sunday when it was closed. However, the receptionist has promised to address this. The management seems a little inflexible- the rest of our group wanted to join us for a drink and food one night but the hotel was unwilling to accommodate and would only allow drinks on a terrace away from the restaurant, but made it clear that they were not to stay for long, despite the bar area not being busy. However, on balance, this is a really good hotel, with excellent staff, great food and well maintained and comfortable accommodation.
