Welcome to this 1-bedroom camper/RV that is parked behind a house in a suburban area of Northern New Jersey. The RV is plugged in and there is good WiFi. Direct bus to Manhattan NYC is only 2 blocks away. ALDI supermarket and laundry within walking distance. You can park your car on the street for free. Street parking is relatively easy to find. This is a motorhome and is similar to a small apartment. Please note that this is not a new unit. It is about 25 years old and has some signs of normal wear and tear. We keep it clean and functional, but we want to be clear that this is not a brand new motorhome. You will have private access to the entire unit during your stay. You are not allowed to drive this RV. This rental is stationary only. If you are interested in renting an RV for a road trip, contact us as we have a different unit available for this type of rental. Two blocks away from this location there is NJ Transit Bus No. 115, a direct bus that takes you to Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City (Midtown Manhattan). The ride takes about 60 minutes and costs $8 per person. You can also drive easily around this area and there is plenty of parking. EWR airport is only about 20 minutes away. Walking/jogging in the neighborhood is also very easy. This RV can be rented during the winter and you are able to stay in it comfortably. There is heat and hot water, so you can stay warm and comfortable during colder months. There is also air conditioning for the warmer season. There is a lock box at the location with a key to the RV front door. You will receive the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us and we must approve this in advance. The amenities that are listed at the time you book the unit are the amenities provided. Please review this list of amenities before booking. We also just want to make clear that you are renting a short-term stay and not a hotel room. There are many differences between this type of stay and hotels, and some newer guests may not realize it. Hotels are large and often have many rooms, and the ability to change your room should issues arise. Hotels also have staff 24/7 that can help you with every issue or questions that you may have. On the other hand, we are a small operation and manage our listings to the best of our ability. We try hard to create a good experience for guests. We are including this disclaimer here because we have recently seen a rise in guests that seem to view short-term rentals as very similar to hotels, but in reality it is quite different. If your unit has a thermostat and the thermostat is locked, do not tamper with it or try to break open the lock. Doing so is called vandalism and is highly inappropriate. We will withhold your security deposit if you do this and possible submit for more damages depending on the situation. Also, guests must leave the apartment in the condition they found it (e.g. no leftover food, nothing that creates a need for excessive or deep cleaning). Please wash all dishes that you use, remove food that you've brought in, and discard all trash. Our cleaning fee is lower than most and it covers basic cleaning tasks like washing of linens and towels, vacuuming, etc. The cleaning fee does not cover deep cleaning, excessive kitchen and bathroom cleaning, etc. Thanks for your cooperation! If you check out late, there will be a $100 per hour fee for each hour or fraction of an hour that you stay beyond the check out time. Welcome to this 3,000 sf (280 m2) loft-style apartment in the heart of downtown Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA. It is the entire 2nd floor of a historic building. Sleeps up to 8 people comfortably with four large and private bedrooms. Open kitchen/living/dining room to gather together with your family and friends. Dining table seats 8 people. There are 2 spacious full bathrooms as well. No parties, events, or smoking of any kind -- this is strictly enforced. The apartment is very spacious with ample room for up to 8 people to stay. Each bedroom has its own desk and office chair — perfect for working from home. The direct train to New York is less than a 5 minute walk from this apartment. The journey takes about 30 minutes to reach Manhattan New York City. Newark Airport (EWR) can be reached with this same train and the journey takes about 15 minutes. This building is in the middle of a city and has no parking. There is a public parking garage around the corner where you can conveniently park during your stay. You would need to pay the parking fees directly to the garage. We do not include any parking with this listing and parking is entirely a guest's responsibility. Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival. The code will not be sent in advance. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. No one will be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm), so it will be completely self-service and you will not receive any refund or concession if you cannot check-in after 11:00 pm for any reason. Welcome to this private and cozy camper/RV. Everything you need is here in this unique space. It's like a studio apartment and perfect for a single person. The RV is hooked up to electric so you will always have power for lights, outlets, air conditioning, etc. The RV is parked behind a private house in a safe area. ALDI supermarket is 5-minute walk away. Bus to NYC 2 blocks away. No parties, events, or smoking of any kind -- strictly enforced. This RV is a converted Sprinter van. It is 22 feet long and about 7 feet wide. You will be able to stand up comfortably in the galley area if you are 6 feet tall or shorter. In the bathroom and the bed area, you may not be able to stand up straight depending on your height. The space is like a small studio apartment -- lots of features packed into a small space! Please keep in mind, however, that this is a vehicle and not a house/apartment. There are some differences from what a house/apartment can provide. Please read the entire listing to understand what I am talking about. You will have exclusive and private access to the RV during your stay. This unit is NOT shared with anyone. There is no TV in the RV, but you can use your tablet or phone with WiFi for entertainment. Please note that the water heater will give you warm water but not hot water. Please understand this before booking. The heater will heat the water to about 20 degrees above the ambient temperature, but it will not be hot. There is a good AC that keeps the RV cool. There is a good furnace that keeps the RV warm. During the winter months (November through March), I treat the water system with non-toxic antifreeze. You can use water for washing/showering, but you should not drink it. You must park on the street if you have a car. The parking is relatively easy to find. Just pay attention to the street cleaning signs. You cannot block the driveway with your car. Thanks. You are not allowed to drive the RV. Finally, after you book, let me know if you'd like me to set up the bed for you in the rear of the van, or leave the table set up and store the bed linens in the closet.
