Located on the outskirts of the village of Goodleigh, this property is a perfect rural retreat; only a 15 minute drive to the white sandy beaches of Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde, yet on the edge of Exmoor National Park. A perfect base to explore the whole of North Devon; whether you're into surfing or just scenery-spotting, coastal-hiking or horse-riding. Great Lilly Cottage forms part of Great Lilly Farm where the owners, Kate & Ali live with their family and assorted menagerie including Pygmy Goats, Pigs and Chickens. The cottage is a 3 storey renovated barn with its own private parking and extensive & enclosed gardens - and being animal lovers, we happily accept well-behaved pets. Please note, although on 3 levels, the cottage is open plan with both bedrooms opening onto the central staircase. Prospect Cottage is a two bedroom cottage in the lovely village of Chittlehampton situated a few miles south of Barnstaple in easy reach of the North Devon coast and Exmoor. The cottage is several hundred years old and has been renovated and offers excellent accommodation for up to four people. Situated on the square in the heart of the village, next to the large parish church and local school and 50 paces from the award winning Bell Inn which has a reputation for good food and quality beer. There is a general store closeby. During the current Covid-19 crisis we have introduced additional practices after each stay to ensure our guests are as safe as possible, including cleaning and disinfecting all high-touch surfaces and cleaning floors, walls, blinds, and other low-touch surfaces with hot water and detergent.
