I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel for three nights and four days. This is a five-star property located beautifully by the beach, offering breathtaking natural surroundings. Despite our stay not being during the summer season and the weather being slightly cloudy, we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
One of the standout experiences was the Sleepy Massage at the spa. It was exceptional—therapists tailored the massage to focus on areas with pain or tension, which was incredibly thoughtful and added great value to our stay.
The hotel’s food offerings were impressive overall. However, there were notable service issues, particularly at the beachside restaurant. The time it took for orders to be delivered was excessively long—30 to 40 minutes for simple items like a smoothie or beer. On one occasion, after waiting 30 minutes for a coffee, we were informed it wasn’t available that day. These delays and miscommunications significantly impacted our experience.
Another area needing improvement is staff communication. While the staff was kind and well-meaning, their English proficiency was insufficient, leading to frequent misunderstandings. This is an important area for a hotel of this caliber to address, especially given its international clientele.
The rooms, at 42–43 square meters, were spacious and adequate. However, some furnishings, such as curtains and chairs, appeared worn and outdated. For a Hyatt property, this was disappointing.
One policy-related issue stood out—staff adhered strictly to hotel rules without considering guest concerns or providing flexible solutions. For instance, instead of prioritizing guest comfort, policies seemed to take precedence, making the experience less relaxing and enjoyable than expected.
Lastly, we dined at Le Petite, the hotel’s animation dining restaurant. While the concept was entertaining, the repetitive nature of the animations, applied universally to all menus, made it feel less engaging. Enhancing this experience with tailored or varied animations could elevate it significantly.
In summary, while the location, massage services, and food quality met expectations, the service delays, outdated furnishings, language barriers, and inflexible policies detracted from the experience. With improvements in these areas, the hotel could offer a truly five-star stay. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.
Room was on the ground floor and right next to the beach, so the views were amazing and easily accessible to the beach and pool. We appreciated the notice that there would be some animals, like beetles and mosquitoes. Room could be a bit cleaner, as there were some visible stains on the carpet.
Breakfast was a bit generic but had a bit of everything. Dinner at their restaurant, Madame Son, was amazing and I would recommend to those who want to try contemporary Vietnamese cuisine.
Absolutely beautiful resort!
We loved staying here! The pool is amazing and is even better in real life!
The breakfast was the best we had put of all the 5* resorts we stayed at on our 18 day trip to Da nang. It really is so amazing! You can order your coffee and eggs on the little paper that is provided and this made it so easy. The fresh smoothies in the little glass bottles were so yummy. The supervisor man at breakfast was so lovely and always checked you were happy.
The restaurant right on the beach front, is outstanding. We had the best pizza and pasta there! A++++
We have no complaints about this resort and only wished we had on stayed longer here! We will definitely stay again when we return to Da nang and highly recommend a stay here for anyone!

Melia definitely gives you value for money. The staff definitely made every interaction personable and they catered to our every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking luxury at an affordable rate.
Check in & Room: We were greeted by friendly staff and also got an upgrade from a 2-bedroom to a 3-bedroom villa which was a very big place that is above our expectation. Place was clean and tidy and had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay.
Facilities: Villa had complete facilities including a gym and spa. It only had 2 main restaurants and did not serve much variety and can be improved. Transportation around the villa is through buggies and can sometimes take up to 15 minutes wait time. This can also be improved in my opinion.
Overall service: Service was good from the staff. We felt very welcome and greeted by a smile everyday. The villa is good to exercise and jog around and big enough to keep kids entertained. I do recommend this place for families and big groups especially with the big villas that the hotel offers.
Absolutely gorgeous 5* resort. The grounds are the highlight of this place and the beautiful staff. Min was absolutely amazing, checking in on us every day and helping with any problems we had, she looked after us so well. The staff here, everyone is so, so friendly!
We upgraded from an apartment to a 1 bedroom private pool room. I highly recommend this option as it's quiet, peaceful and so beautiful. Having your own private pool and lpunge chairs was wonderful.
Thos resort was the only resort we stayed at on our 18 day trip that had happy hour! The happy hour is great value with buy 1, get 1 free at the pool!
Our favorite food place here was the mexican restaurant, I can not recommend this enough. The food is the best mexican we have ever had and the staff are so beautiful and kind ❤️
The hayhay restaurant was very disappointing for dinner and we would not eat there again. This is the same place breakfast was served. The breakfast was nice but you need to go very early otherwise it is horrible with lines and not enjoyable.
The spa was beautiful but quite pricey. Not the most expensive I saw on my trip however. I had a facial there which was good and it smelt amazing!
We would definitely come back to Naman to stay when we visit Da nang again.
Really enjoyed my 4-day stay at the resort. The reception personnel are all very friendly and efficient. There was a very good smelling aroma every time I stepped in the lobby. That really meets the vibes of a relaxation and vacation. Before check-in, I left a note for the resort indicating that this trip is to celebrate the anniversary with my partner, and the resort helped prepare decent deco in the room. Highly recommend to stay at this resort.
You will feel safe and welcome. The rooms with beach view are facing east. Windy and fresh air all day + you can enjoy beautiful sun rise view.
We chose this hotel because we wanted a hotel next to the beach (not separated by a road). Even though it is a little bit far from the city area, you can enjoy a quiet private beach only to you.
It was near to marble mountain too.
I was first worried that the room would be quite old. Even though they are not brand new, it is ok, in my opinion, with that price.
Breakfast is awesome, too. I can easily recommend this hotel.
We recently stayed at the Koi resorts at Da Nang. We researched and compared the prices, amenities, accessibility etc and zeroed in on this resort. We booked through trip.com and got a good discount of approx 25%, we were a group of 8 adults and 2 kids. The overall experience at the resort was fantastic, the villa quite huge, with awesome pool (common and within the villq) and beautiful location, but let me start with a few negatives:
- while this is advertised as a 4 bedroom villa, it’s more like 3.25 bedrooms. The room downstairs is for just one person, my dad had to get an extra bed to be placed in the living room and slept there.
- For the 2 bedrooms on first floor, there is only one common toilet and bathroom, 4 people using 1 bathroom and toilet is a bit difficult. Would be good if they had done an attached bathroom and toilet for every bedroom (considering the space available is huge).
- When we reached, the aircon was not working, we had raised a complaint and they fixed it later by cleaning up the filters
- The toilets get very smelly as there is no proper ventilation (there’s a fan in the roof) but not good enough to remove the smell. Once again, we complained and they did some fix. Didn’t result in much of change.
- We are vegetarians, so there’s very limited options in the breakfast buffet, but they do oblige to make local vegetarian dishes separately for you if you request (the spring rolls, Pho, curry soup and glass noodles were lipsmacking!)
Despite all of these negatives, it’s the staff who are amazing and make up for all the shortcomings. They are forever smiling, very sincere and earnest, extremely polite and attend very promptly to your every single need. Not even once did we see them show even the slightest irritation or delay things. They had almost become like friends with us and they went extra mile to make sure we are taken good care of. The property is maintained spick and span, with beautiful landscaping and overall impeccable service. Absolutely enjoyed the experience, thanks and Kudos to the team!
I highly recommend it to anyone who are looking for an apartment to stay while in Da Nang. The unit is incredibly clean and comes fully stocked with all the utilities you need and more. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Day before I was to check in, I was already contacted regarding my room by the super friendly staff Lisa who was incredibly helpful in sharing more about my stay and attending to my questions. Similar experience with staff name Vince who facilitated my check in experience in person. Both continued to be very helpful and responsive during my entire stay. Added to this, a chef was also on hand to prepare delicious breakfast at your convenience. The amenities were also great throughout the resort, with nice views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Overall, I loved my stay here and looking forward to staying here again when I'm in Da Nang! 10 out of 10 stars!
