Hoi An Ivy Hotel

I want to sincerely thank the lady who worked today at 7:30 pm at the reception for helping me going back to Da Nang safely. I am not a customer at Ivy Hotel. I went there to get the bus from Barry Ann Travel which stops next to the hotel. I asked her to help me to book me a seat as my Vietnamese is broken. She called the bus agency for me, and at the beginning they said that for 9 pm they have a seat available. We booked it and there was lots of time until I could take the bus. She suggested to visit the "Sea Salt Spa & Nails" next door because I did everything a tourist could do in the city and as a female solo traveler I would be safe there. Apparently, the receptionist and the stuff members of the spa collaborated together as the news of me trying to get back to Da Nang got to them in seconds. During the message, I received a call from her that there were no available seats for me available anymore. But she assured me that the stuff members of the spa would gladly call a taxi for me and that she would give my money (from the ticket) back to the owner of the spa. I went directly to panic mode as the public buses aren't driving in the evening and the taxi prices are charged very high for foreigners (I'm a low budget traveler). I also have to admit that I was afraid that I would be victim of a scheme. But I was proven very wrong! I received my money back, nothing was stolen, the receptionist, the massagist, and the owner of the spa were very accommodating towards me.

It's a short walk from the buzz of Hoi An Old town, away from the noisy busy part. Ms Liza, the concierge is very accommodating and helpful. Our luggage was delayed, she helped us contact the airport personnel. Our triple room is very spacious. The breakfast is just right, alway with fresh fruits.

My partner and I stayed at the Ivy Hotel for four nights. The hotel was in a great location for exploring the old town. It is in easy walking distance to the river to see the lanterns and the night markets. Our room was reasonably priced and clean. Lisa and the rest of the staff on the front desk were also very helpful in answering any questions we had, booking tours and providing recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

Accueil très agréable , le personnel parfaitement bilingues Français & Anglais. Très proche de la vieille ville à pied . Nous avons également eu recours à une voiture avec chauffeur pour une excursion et le transfert à l'aéroport, le tout organisé de manière parfaite par l'hôtel. Légère déception sur le petit déjeuner normal c'est le temps qu'ils s'organisent . Hôtel tout neuf et viens d'ouvrir.
