A posh hotel.
We arrived in Hoi An for a day. The room was nice with a view of the river. Clean. The hotel is classic, in the style of the 30s. They didn't give us any welcome drinks or cooling napkins. They didn't show us to our room. They didn't congratulate us on our date (they mentioned the holiday in advance). The lobby smells delicious. And the room is damp. You need to put air fresheners in the room, there are foreigners in the hotel, we didn't meet any Russians. Breakfast is a buffet, good.
They offer excursions at very high prices. On my own it was 10 times cheaper! Exactly 10.
You don't need to return to this hotel.
It is designed for excursions. But it would be atmospheric to live in a small cozy hotel, a villa. There are many of them here and it will be cheaper. We thought that this hotel would be the best on our trip, but others were better!
They take you to the beach.
Advice: in Hoi An you need to stay by the sea. And for walks come to the old town. Taxis are cheap.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing. Location, amenities but most impressive was the staff service. Probably the best we have experienced. Nothing was too hard for them to go out of their way to make you stay comfortable. Will definitely come back to the Royal Hoi An for another stay. We drove around the area and couldn’t find a hotel that compares. The pools and rooftop bar were awesome and the breakfast superb. Just the best.
