,What an amazing homestay/hotel. It says it's a 1-star Hotel (on Google) but don't let that fool you, it's nicer than a lot of 3 star hotels or homestays. Here a list of just a few things that you can expect if you stay at this place: - The homestay/hotel: a beautiful colonial style building well maintained with so much to offer, from some amazing home cooked food to cooking classes. Or just enjoy a relaxing day at the pool and do some BBQ. Everything super clean, and well maintained. They have a great variety of services that they offer, some good home-cooked food, laundry, or private taxi to airport or other attraction. And you will have access to a free bicycle on your stay here. You can even rent a motorbike from them for a good price. There's no elevator but the stairs are really wide and easy to go up, not as narrow/small like in other Vietnamese homes. The room I stated had a ton of natural light, but also with thick curtains if you want it to be dark. And there's a power outlet just by the bed. My room came with a mini fridge, big plus, AC and fan and a desk to do some work. And a really nice big balcony overlooking the quiet street and the pool. And omg, the bed is so comfortable. The water pressure is really good and amazing WiFi / Internet (over 300 Mbps) all around the property. And It has video surveillance just to be on the safe side. Though it's not really needed because you're in a really safe area with a lot of friendly local people. - The hosts/owners: Super friendly couple who will do everything in that power to make your stay amazing. From recommendation what to see or where and what to eat. Easy to communicate with them via booking chat or Whatsapp. In person it's a bit more complicated, but with translation apps it's always fun to have a chat with them. - Amazing location, in a quiet area but close to a lot of amenities. Great cafes, bars and restaurant just around the corner. Supermarkets and Spa's close by. Even for entertainment you don't need to walk far, there are some karaoke places, Billiard, kid playground and so much more. And just a quick 15 minutes bicycle ride through the rice fields and you are at the beach. Or like a 10 minute bicycle ride and you're an old town. Or just walk around the neighborhood it's really walk friendly. I normally walked to the old town, it's around 15 to 20 minutes walk. And you get to experience more of the local non-tourist life. That's always a big plus. From ladies drying out coconut on the terraces to kids playing football on the street. And at night it is quiet and you can enjoy a good night rest. If I needed to write something negative about this place is that there was no Outlet close to the desk, but that was a quick solution from the hosts, they gave me an extension cord. And you only have the main lights in the room, no bedside lamp but but that doesn't really bother me. Just keep that in mind if you're a couple and one wants to sleep and the other one still wants to r
