The best experience ever! So friendly and being a solo traveller felt safe and never felt lonely! Helped having great fellow travellers. Everything was excellent only downside can you get the pool heated? Would have loved a dip but ice cold! Food excellent as was the wine and G&T. Game drives twice daily surpassed all my expectations was fantastic Thomas and Krest made it enjoyable and their knowledge immense. The amount of animals and interesting facts was amazing. Would come back in an instance and hopefully someday I will. Vuyani means happy and I certainly came away feeling so much more than than in body and mind, it’s like a little retreat. Met some many lovely people and will have lovely memories for a lifetime. Keep up the excellent work Jan, Cyril, wavill, angelique ( the best banoffee ever), Lloyd and to those I forgot sorry.

An amazing experience, it exceeded all of our expectations. The twice daily game drives are such an experience, with such knowledgable guides who are so skilled at finding the animals, no matter how elusive they are. The staff at Vuyani are amazing, ensuring that everyone has a 5 star experience. The food is delicious and plentiful, and glasses are re-filled on a very regular basis! It was colder than we had expected in the morning, the wind chill when travelling in an open vehicle was quite a shock, so come prepared with a warm hat and preferably scarf, as the face and neck area is where it’s coldest. We also took the blanket from the chest at the bottom of our bed, which we wrapped around our legs.

My daughter Poppy and I had the most wonderful stay at Vuyani River Lodge. The staff are all so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. All the trips out were organised brilliantly so there was no stress at all throughout our stay. The game drives were so amazing, we loved every one. David and Direct were absolutely fantastic and the tracking and knowledge they both have made our drives all the more special. We were both so sad to leave and hope to one day visit again. It truly was the best holiday we have ever had, full of amazing memories. Thank you all x

We’ve just spent the most amazing week here. The game drives were magnificent. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. The food was amazing and the place was just magical. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Our only regret was having to go home. We will be back.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here and honestly it’s hard to choose the best parts as it was all simply amazing!! 🤩 The location, the food (oh my god the food…simply devine!), the lodges and outdoor showers, the staff who just cannot do enough for you. The most amazing experience and one I won’t forget in a hurry. A truly magical experience, I can’t thank you all enough for making my birthday even more special. THANK YOU 🙏 ❤️

Everything was perfect! Such an amazing experience and I would HIGHLY recommend. Our tracker Direct was an absolute star, so talented and a lovely guy. Our driver David was also very knowledgeable answering all our questions and we felt totally safe with him driving us through the bush. The staff at the lodge could not do enough for us and were always so friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was perfect with everything we needed. The food was amazing and all freshly cooked. The drinks were all branded and in plentiful supply. Stopping our evening drive for sundowners at sunset was a lovely touch In between drives, it is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. I could not fault this place in any way!

This trip was totally last minute, we booked it the day before we left after doing a random online search and stumbling across Vuyani River Lodge. We honestly didn’t expect much since there was zero planning involved, but it completely blew us away. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. We had some amazing sightings—got the closest I’ve ever been to elephants! And even if you don’t spot much, the views alone are totally worth it.

Had an excellent honeymoon here. Rooms are great size and had everything you could need. Housekeeping excellent. Food was delicious and if you have a fussy eater they will make something for you. Guides and trackers excellent and knowledgeable about everything. Learned so much that I didn’t know. Highly recommend trip of a lifetime❤️ Animals were super cooperative😁 and got loads of great pics/videos.
