Masodini Private Game Lodge

Family of 14 with an age range of 3 to 79 stayed at this beautiful lodge for 4 nights over Easter. We had the most incredible few days and were welcomed so warmly by the Masodini team. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the veranda for breakfast and lunch looking over the pool and watering hole is idyllic. We were lucky enough to see Elephants and Giraffes walking past the swimming pool. The game drives (Early morning and late afternoon) were exciting and fruitful, we saw Impala, Elephants, Giraffe, Lions, Zebra, Crocodile, Hippo, Rhino, Chameleon, Leopard and more...What an amazing experience. The Masodini guides are extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which made the experience more interesting and comfortable. The freshly prepared food three times a day was exceptional and interesting. The evening meal was shared next to an open fire. The children enjoyed the swimming pool in the day time and the adults also enjoyed a massage on one of the days which I can highly recommend. The overall experience was excellent, friendly staff, all needs catered for, experienced guides and beautiful accommodation. Thank you!

We had the most incredible stay at Masodini for my husband’s 50th birthday. The lodge was the perfect place to come together with our extended family, ranging in age from 3 to 79. The staff were absolutely wonderful with the children (aged 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, and 13), making everyone feel welcome and cared for. The game drives were unforgettable — we saw so much amazing wildlife, including multiple leopards! Our five days at Masodini were truly special, and we can’t recommend it highly enough, especially for families travelling with young children. A huge thank you to Stephanie, Leanne, and the whole team for making this such a memorable experience for all of us!

We (3 generations, from the Netherlands) stayed only 2 nights with Lindy and the team. The hospitality was great; nothing was too much. We felt welcome and part of the family. We were not lucky with seeing wild from the lodge, but that was more than compensated during the game drives (we did 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Thank you!

Great place, staff were attentive and always will to help. Food was good and hearty. Accommodation clean and well kept. Our game ranger was the best, saw loads of animals daily. Overall a great place for family or couples. Highly recommend

It was unforgettable. We had the hole lodge to ourself. It was truly amazing and the highlight of our trip with the two private safaris a day.

The attention of the owner and the staff has been magnificent, with a lot of dedication and especially in the details that have made our stay more comfortable and personal.
