A fantastic 4 night stay. Gorgeous toiletries and even hair dryer and straighteners. Unbelievable food created by Maxwell, Mpho and Sipho and served by the smiling Beauty and Lizbeth. Our amazing and knowledgeable guide Sean pointed out birds, small and big animals too numerous to list. The lodge setting was just perfect overlooking water holes and stream. It was like being in a nature film. Front of house Natasha and Katelyn ensured the best time.. Full marks to those out of sight staff whose names we forgot but ensured the whole experience was beyond our expectations. Already planning my return.

We spent 4 nights at Milima and every day was a new high. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Even in the middle of “winter”, it was comfortable in the rooms. The staff was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The meals were tasty and enjoyable. It was nice eating outside in the tent or around the Braai. Spending afternoons watching the dynamics of the elephant families at the watering whole was fascinating. Nothing was better than sitting by the pool watching a variety of animals wander by the watering hole, except the actual Safari rides. Our guide, Thomas, was incredible. With over 20 years of experience as a guide, if there was an animal out there he would find it. In fact, the downside to the experience is that we became convinced that Thomas was planting the animals. We would let him know what we wanted to see and soon afterwards they would appear. We highly recommend this experience. Go team Thomas!!!

We really enjoyed Milima. We stayed in one of the Safari tents which are very comfortable with huge bathrooms. The beds are great and the electric blankets very welcomed. A bar fridge with plenty of water and a tea and coffee station. The tents are right on the fence line and we were lucky enough to spot quite a few species of game, specifically elephants walking straight past our tent. Meals at Milima are a treat, everything was really great. Boma dinners are fabulous. The Restaurant staff and the 3 chefs are just fantastic. Game drives were a bit disappointing, in that our guide was not very verbal and quite often said a nothing for a good 40 min. Engagement with ones guests is very important especially when you don't see anything for a good while. Disney names for animals is a NO NO. But we had a great time overall and would certainly recommend Milima. Great value for money. We LOVED the water hole in front of the pool, that gets 5 stars*****

Just returning from 4 days at this lodge. Everything here exceeded our expectations. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the property is amazing, food is five stars. Being vegetarian, our food choices were well planned for and accommodated. The safaris were awesome and our guide Sidney went above and beyond to make sure we got a close view of all the animals. The muffins served during the safari were one of the best I have tasted. Everyone is professional and friendly and I am super glad we chose this place. Five stars from our family.

We were only there for a couple of nights but wish we had longer. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the chalet we stayed in was fantastic, comfortable with all the amenities you could want or need with it made ready for you after every game drive. The game drives themselves were great, thank you Caswell. We were fortunate enough to see the big 5 plus so much more. The waterhole in the reserve just in front of the pool was also popular with the animals so we were able to see elephants, impalas, zebras and warthogs having a drink while we were relaxing by the pool. The chefs were great with ample food available and it tasted fantastic, and the other staff always asking if there was anything else you wanted with both my kids loving the mocktails.

We loved this experience into the wild. The games were so nice. We got to see the big 5 and the guides Sidney and Pram are so kind. All the staff is kind and they do everything they can to please us. Bit thanks to Sylvia, Abigail and Beauty and the Chef. The tent is super nice, we could see the elephants from our room. Bed and pillows very confortable. The food was also super good. Everyday with different options, even during the games, we could have some snacks and beverages.

Milima totally exceeded our expectations. What an incredible experience. They do understated luxury at its best. Food is amazing and they alternate between venues and styles: braai one day, formal dinner another and casual refinement on yet another day. We tasted kudu and ostrich and tried local specialities like bobooti. Wines are very good too and of course the beers. It’s nice that it’s all inclusive. Also the pool is lively and we saw so many elephants come and go to the waterhole near the pool. And then the safaris!! Wow wow wow. We saw 4 of the big five along with many other animals. It was just stunning. Already planning another trip here. We’ve still got to spot a leopard ! In summary. Highly recommend. You won’t go wrong. Experience of a lifetime ! Special thanks to the staff who made us feel so welcome. Special mention to Katelyn and Marvelous and Sweetness.

We travelled as a family with 2 children and 2 adults and had a fabulous time. The stay was incredible and we were greeted with a warm welcome and a chef to understand our food preferences for the family. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, overall food was spectacular. We had an issued on the first night but the hotel went above and beyond to fix it the next day. The rangers were very knowledgeable and so determined for us to see the big 5 which made the trip magical. We would highly recommend this lodge.

Our stay at Milima Safari Lodge in Kruger was absolutely unforgettable! Sean was the best game drive host—knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure we had incredible sightings, including the Big 5. The chef was very accommodating of our vegetarian dietary needs, especially as we were travelling with kids, which we truly appreciated. Any minor issues with the room were resolved promptly, and the staff was consistently friendly and courteous. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Kruger!
