I've never shared any reviews, whether I had a bad or good experience. However, this is an exception, this place is absolutely perfect, beautiful scenery, peaceful, and quiet. The unit had everything we needed, and every section opens beautifully to the outside. We were received warmly and had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful place to stay while exploring the nearby attractions.

Do yourself a favor and do not book your stay with these ungrateful people. They have too much money and they do not need your business. They canceled our booking on the same day of arrival before notifying us. I guess the reason is they were probably getting more money since we booked through a third-party, the reason they gave us is they hold the right to cancel the rooms when it was paid in full. Of course they issued a full refund, but we were screwed at the last minute do not book your terrible place.

What extraordinary hosts Jochen and Mira are, and what an extraordinary place they have created. I LOVED my stay there. Jaw dropping beauty, pin drop tranquility and all with 21st century comforts (and an incredibly well appointed kitchen) and the world's nicest, most thoughtful hosts. Do not hesitate to book. You'll love it.

Kruger cliffs was a perfect place for us to extend our time in the Kruger area. The rates were affordable and offered great value.. The self catering unit was incredibly spacious and light. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals. Our bedroom had a comfortable king size bed with aircon that allowed for just the right temperature while sleeping. Excellent water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. We thoroughly enjoyed the views of the mountains and loved that we got to watch animals graze in the bush just beyond our lanai. We even saw monkeys in the trees...at a safe distance. It was a convenient location to reach the south entrance to Kruger park. They helped organize game drives at the reserve bordering Kruger as well as the river boat cruise at Blyde Canyon. Jochen was a wealth of knowledge about local hiking and other activities available to fill the day. But be sure to leave time to soak up the sun on the lanai, while enjoying the sounds on nature and taking a dip in the refreshing plunge pool. We loved it. Highly recommend.

We stayed with 2 couples for 10 days at Kruger Cliffs. It is a very spacious lodge, only a 20min drives away from the best places to do game drives. It has a fully equiped kitchen and outside, offcourse, a braai. Because Hoedspruit is only a 20min drive away, you can easily do your groceries over there, and there are amazing butcher nearby. But if you want, the lodge can also provide Braai packages. The lodges outside area has an amazing view on the cliffs, with amazing sunsets. The pool is perfect for a well deserved cooldown after a long day of game drives. We will definetly come back here!

Luxury and comfort in a magnificent bush setting. We were welcomed by Jochen and Mira, the owners of this little jewel in the bush. A quiet place but not isolated, Hoedspruit and Acornhoek are just a short drive, and in Kampersrus which is only 5 minutes away you can find fuel, a shop and a restaurant. The self containing cottages are spacious and catch lots of light. Everything is available for a perfect stay. They all have a very private large terrace and plunge pool with views over the bush and to the Mariepskop mountain. Jochen organises trips to the mountain with breathtaking views over the lowveld and trips through the rainforest. The cottage was spotlessly clean, hygiene is top priority. The owners are very discrete but yet available whenever you may need them. In short, a wonderful bush experience that must be repeated!!

De lodge is prachtig en van alle luxe voorzien. Daarnaast is er nagedacht over kleine dingen die handig zijn in een lodge waardoor het verblijf zeer fijn is. Wat ik op reis altijd heel belangrijk vind is een goed bed en een goede douche. Om te beginnen het bed: Die is heerlijk groot en heeft een dik matras. De klamboe zorgt ervoor dat je heerlijk kunt slapen en geen last hebt van eventuele insecten. De binnendouche is heerlijk en heeft een grote stortdouche. De 2e douche, een buitendouche is heerlijk waarbij je uitzicht hebt op de prachtige omgeving. Wij vonden het een perfecte uitvalsbasis omdat je dichtbij shops en het centrum van Hoedspruit zit maar ook binnen een half uurtje in het Krugerpark staat. Je krijgt dus veel meer luxe als dat je in het park gaat zitten.

Geweldig mooie schoon verblijf met een geweldig terras. De eigenaren zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en hulpzaam. Uitstekend verblijf om de panoramaroute te starten, maar voor ons persoonlijk te ver van kruger om er smorgens op tijd te zijn. De inrichting van het verblijf is erg netjes, alles is er aanwezig. Niets ontbreekt. Om een klein kritische puntje te geven denk ik dat de inrichting meer sfeervoller kan zodat het een wat meer Afrikaanse ervaring kan zijn. Meer sfeerverlichting, beige kleuren, houten meubels ipv kunststof. Maar dat is smaakgebonden. Desalniettemin een dikke 10! Groetjes en bedankt voor alles.
