Hotel dekat Saigon Train Station, Ho Chi Minh City

When I booked the room, I didn't notice that there was no elevator. I had to carry my suitcase to the second floor. There was a suitcase elevator and the floor was a bit dirty. I booked a street view room, and the soundproofing was very poor. I could basically hear sounds from outside. I don’t know why? The only advantage is that it is very close to County 10

good location at D3 with spacious rooms. the staff at m village are excellent and helpful. just that there is a church nearby that may ring bells early in the morning

I stayed 3 nights at the Ramana Saigon hotel. Good location with easy walks through that part of the city if you do not mind pollution and a lot of traffic (mostly motorbikes). I loved discovering the city with its hectic and very lively environment. The hotel is next to district one. The railway station is a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Plenty of eateries around and convenience shops next to the hotel. The staff at the reception were very welcoming and helpful. True professionals. That was also the case of security and those in charge of the rooms. I mentioned a very noisy service door next to my room and the issue was fixed immediately. Now I was not too impressed by the service and the attention at the restaurant during breakfast. Too busy with the many tour groups keeping the restaurant fully busy (and noisy) from 6 AM to 9 AM (seating: almost 300 people) then a bit quieter until closing time at 9:30 AM. Today I ate breakfast a bit later than usual at 8:45 and noticed that tables were not cleaned after guests left. Items were removed but nothing more resulting in empty tables with dirty table sets and no more forks, knives, etc... The food at the restaurant is for the masses. No real options for people with diabetes for example as pretty much all items are on the sweet or very sweet side. Including cooked vegetables (sugar and fat). 3 different salads to choose from but no simple dressing with just vinegar and oil. They care for the many Indian guests with a few vegetarian options but ... I tried and ... my glucometer did not appreciate and hit the red zone :( The rooms are old fashioned but nice and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Not hard as is rather usual in Asia. The noise insulation is on the poor side. The air conditioning system is rather loud. There is a well sized fridge in the room and plenty of space :) The swimming pool on the 5th floor (outdoor) is small but nice and there are a few lounge chairs to relax. It was not busy when I was there in the early afternoon but I guess I was lucky ;-) The guests at the hotel are overwhelmingly tourists traveling in big groups. Mainly Indians and Chinese but also some Westerners. Bottom line: I enjoyed my stay at the Ramana and I understand that the mass tourism supports their business which, to me, comes with some disadvantages: overcrowded restaurant for breakfast, very loud and noisy guests at times ... and the flow of such guests is quite constant during the day (departures crossing arrivals).

The equipment is relatively old, the sanitation is good, and the space is large. You can stay here if you don’t want to spend too much money. It’s a bit far from the city. It’s convenient to stay in the city by motorcycle. I’ll stay here again next time.

I was very happy with my stay here! Room was clean and spacious, the restaurant food was tasty, and every staff member was very helpful and kind! I'd like to especially thank the receptionists and guards that were on duty during my stay there. I don't remember their names, but what made me deeply thankful is how helpful they were, and here's why: I'm a slightly disabled person (my disability is almost not visible, nevertheless, sometimes it can cause some complications) and also since an accident two years ago which involved stairs, I'm really scared of walking up or down the stairs if there's not anything to hold on to. I didn't pay attention when booking this hotel, but when I arrived there, I saw that one part of their entrance staircase had no railing to hold on to, and then there were pillars and decorations right next to where the railing started, on both sides of the staircase, which made it difficult to access the railing. So it was kind of hard for me to take those stairs, but I managed to walk them 1-2 times. But then, some of their staff members must have noticed I'm having some issues while taking the stairs, and since then, every time I was going out or coming back to the hotel, someone from the reception would come and offer me a hand to walk the stairs. It was really sweet how they helped me without me asking them to do so, and also without judging me or asking personal questions about my disability. Truly wish them all the best!

The hotel itself is OK. There were some difficulties with communication beforehand, as the service staff on the phone didn't speak English and always hung up when we asked questions. The hotel's biggest problem was that there was a café next door that opened at 7:00am and was extremely loud until 10:00pm. You are bombarded with music and it's impossible to sleep. The WiFi is very good. The room is well equipped, but unfortunately there is no TV. Every time you entered the room, it stank of mold. But for the price, it was more or less OK.

An ordinary hotel. Good for its price. The main thing is to take a floor no higher than the 3rd. The rooms are better there. The water pressure is weak. Not very clean. Old furniture and shower. Of the obvious advantages - excellent location and a quiet street. Nearby is a night market

Good location. Clean. Good A/C. Good service. Good rate per night. No elevator, narrow and steep stairs, however personnel helps you to carry your luggage(s) up. I recommend this place for solo travellers.

Nice place, it worth what I paid for it. No fancy but really comfortable

Amazingly friendly team - from reception to room service. Room is clean and spacious for the price. Great location - 5 minutes ride to airport, walking distance (5 - 10 minutes) to all amenities. Highly recommended!
