Ulasan Ramana Saigon Hotel

Clean and spacious room. Receptionist was good and courteous. Simple check in and off you go to the room. Recommended to all.

Dedicated and responsible staff; a good variety of breakfast; and a well-maintained swimming pool

It's a little dated, but it's charming. Breakfast was fairly good, a standard selection, but well prepared. Pool was refreshing to escape the heat. Just a little pricey for its location, but that's perhaps me having not been to Vietnam for over 12 years.

The room was not cleaned properly. There were fake eyelashes, dust, and tiny bugs. I asked the concierge to help with transportation, and he basically said to take a taxi and go ask them myself. He wasn't rude but very unhelpful and unknowlegable. When I told the staff about the room not being clean, they didn't seem to care at all. The hotel had 4 stars in multiple locations but reality.

The Hotel stay was good and great 👍  But I think Reception needs to be more courtiers  and not informing the customers to get to the Bell Boys for every Request made in counter. Anyway my great pleasure to say thank you TC.  *Merry Christmas 🎄 & Happy New Year 🎈 2025*  Kind regards

I couldn't sleep because the AC loud noisy 😒

I stayed 3 nights at the Ramana Saigon hotel. Good location with easy walks through that part of the city if you do not mind pollution and a lot of traffic (mostly motorbikes). I loved discovering the city with its hectic and very lively environment. The hotel is next to district one. The railway station is a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Plenty of eateries around and convenience shops next to the hotel. The staff at the reception were very welcoming and helpful. True professionals. That was also the case of security and those in charge of the rooms. I mentioned a very noisy service door next to my room and the issue was fixed immediately. Now I was not too impressed by the service and the attention at the restaurant during breakfast. Too busy with the many tour groups keeping the restaurant fully busy (and noisy) from 6 AM to 9 AM (seating: almost 300 people) then a bit quieter until closing time at 9:30 AM. Today I ate breakfast a bit later than usual at 8:45 and noticed that tables were not cleaned after guests left. Items were removed but nothing more resulting in empty tables with dirty table sets and no more forks, knives, etc... The food at the restaurant is for the masses. No real options for people with diabetes for example as pretty much all items are on the sweet or very sweet side. Including cooked vegetables (sugar and fat). 3 different salads to choose from but no simple dressing with just vinegar and oil. They care for the many Indian guests with a few vegetarian options but ... I tried and ... my glucometer did not appreciate and hit the red zone :( The rooms are old fashioned but nice and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Not hard as is rather usual in Asia. The noise insulation is on the poor side. The air conditioning system is rather loud. There is a well sized fridge in the room and plenty of space :) The swimming pool on the 5th floor (outdoor) is small but nice and there are a few lounge chairs to relax. It was not busy when I was there in the early afternoon but I guess I was lucky ;-) The guests at the hotel are overwhelmingly tourists traveling in big groups. Mainly Indians and Chinese but also some Westerners. Bottom line: I enjoyed my stay at the Ramana and I understand that the mass tourism supports their business which, to me, comes with some disadvantages: overcrowded restaurant for breakfast, very loud and noisy guests at times ... and the flow of such guests is quite constant during the day (departures crossing arrivals).

This hotel is firstly made for groups. You then know what to expect It's decent, old-style and somehow well located.

Room is not clean and dusty every corner , washroom smell bad and dirty spot were found

Nice hotel convenient location close to airport,nice and so many choices of complimentary buffet breakfast we love to comeback stay this place again quite location

Always wifi slow

An excellent 4-star hotel. Will stay again when I am in the area.
