DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here 2 weeks ago in room 233 and left behind a clothing item. I know I left it in the room because I saw it hanging on the door as I took luggage down and I forgot to go get it before leaving. I called the hotel multiple times to speak with housekeeping and was told I would be called back. Finally, a week later, the head of housekeeping called me and said they do not have the item. This leaves no other option than someone in housekeeping decided to keep it and not turn it into lost and found. Therefore, I know for a fact there are thieves working here. These are the same people who will be servicing your room and being around your items! I suggest you stay far, far away. The hotel is also falling apart and has mold issues. We will never return and will steer everyone away from Holiday Inn.

Holliday inn typically gives solid mid level experience. With a lot of construction and spread out campus this was not quite that. Not bad just not as good as normal a standard breakfast a slightly below standard outdoor pool, great staff a little dirtier than expected. Great location close to everything with a short drive to the beach and 2 resident alligators living in a small pond close to the pool

Amazing place that is pet friendly! The service is outstanding! Every employee we encountered was outstanding! Perfect location as it’s not far from the beach or restaurants! The front lobby lady was kind enough to help us decide on a good dinner spot!

We were unaware of construction going on. Our room looked out at a dump truck, the door was very hard to open and close. It was very difficult to find where to check in and it was a distance away. We also couldn't find a parking space when we got back from our dinner party and had to walk a big distance to get to the hotel. Very disappointed.

We wanted a hotel walking distance to the beach, but was sceptical about our stay due to some reviews. We needn’t have worried because this hotel was fantastic! Yes they are in the process of upgrading their hotel (we can’t wait to go back when it’s done). But the works do not affect the customers. The room we had was lovely, great balcony and views. The on-site breakfast was great. Location in to town and the beach was perfect. The staff were so friendly. The pool area was great and the dj on the weekend gave great summer vibes! We will definitely be back, and for longer next time.

Horrible place to stay! Paid ridiculous amount for a sorry hotel. Booked through ***********. Waiting to see if they do anything about it. It’s under construction but does not advertise that. No air conditioning where u get on elevators or in the elevator at 95 degrees. By the time you get to the car you already need another shower. Rooms are very outdated and run down. Parking is terrible and inconvenient. Lots of safety issues to watch for.

The only things giving it two stars are the super nice and helpful people working here and a clean pool. Otherwise, the place is a disaster area - massive construction with gaping holes in walls and no security to the building - you can just walk through the walls, so they don’t bother locking the doors. The hotel is nowhere near the lobby and breakfast area. Same Holiday Inn Express breakfast experience you would get in Akron. There is really no reason to stay here. I don’t mind discount travel, but there has to be some effort made by the management.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional! Orlando checked us in and he was great about getting things straightened out with my credit card. (The one I’d used to make the reservation with in July was stolen in August-Ugh!) Location is perfect, you can walk to beach and shopping. Room was a little small but Each room has a balcony. The pool was a good size and very clean. Quiet area, great place to take walks. (Watch for gators though! There are signs everywhere) Parking included in reservation which was nice. The only unusual thing about the property is that you walk from your room to the breakfast area. It was about 75 yards? (Don’t rely on my math though). We didn’t mind walking but there is a free breakfast shuttle if needed (golf cart) I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. Every person we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again
