Firstly, I will say this issue is possibly fairly unique in that 4 rooms I was offered had unmade beds and hairs in the sheets In a nutshell I was offered a room with the bed unmade, sheets were not tucked in, bodily hairs were in the bed and on the duvet. Staff member came to view the room with me, viewed the bed, took photos and offered me another room. Together we checked 4 rooms all on the same floor in a row, all had the same bad issue. On the 5th room I was told there were no more free so would have to take it. This bed also had hairs a few on the duvet but it was clear it had not been made. Bathroom had hairs in the shower and toilet not flushed. In the morning after sleeping for probably 2/3 hours due to the issue I couldn't get hold of anyone on reception so left. I called the manager later that day Gina who agreed she'd been passed the message about my stay, seen the photo's. It was I who had to raise the issue of a full refund. I was told she'd look into it and call me back, she did not. I called her again that day to be told I had to call customer services and sort it out myself, I did so only to be told it had to be done by email. After calling back Gina the manager she eventually agreed to contact customer services on my behalf to action a refund, again she said she'd call me back with the outcome and did not. I had waited 2 days before posting this to give them ample time to call me as I'm not really one for complaining. I now feel the customer service I have had is as bad as the night itself. I have personally emailed customer service regarding this issue to attempt to resolve this myself. What I will say to prospective customers is in my opinion it is not a great service, would I book again, never. Would I encourage others, never. Find a better hotel that will offer you a brilliant service and least of all a clean bed. Thumbs down for this one on all counts!
