We recently had our wedding at the Highworth Hotel on the 29th of December, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the start, one of the main reasons we chose the Highworth was the flexibility they offered in creating a wedding day exactly how we wanted it, rather than being confined to a set package. Katie, who we worked with throughout the planning process, was fantastic. She offered thoughtful suggestions when we were unsure about things like timings, making sure everything came together perfectly. On the big day, the staff were amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with a couple of last-minute changes, they handled it with ease and professionalism—nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, and we received many compliments from our guests. Having the venue to ourselves made the day feel even more personal, and the pricing was very reasonable for the high level of service we received. We can’t recommend the Highworth enough for anyone looking for a special wedding venue. Thank you to everyone at the Highworth for making our day so memorable. James and Debbie

Really sorry to be leaving this, we have been using the highworth for many occasions over the years, birthdays, weddings, family and friends get together s, bad start from the beginning, 20 people booked for annual Christmas lunch,table was only set for 17 , had to budge up, big confusion over orders, just not very good!.we had an incident with one of our guests that was dealt with very well, we have over the years made a great afternoon of our annual Christmas lunch always held at the highworth, but on this occasion we were told we only had a two hr slot so we were more or less kicked out,! It did get a little bit unpleasant in the end, shame because we normally have a great afternoon , not the best start to Christmas.

We were at a birthday do at Wrag Barn GC so was handy location. Greeted by friendly staff. Room was nice. Bathroom needed some TLC and usual smell of an old hotel in corridor areas. Breakfast service was slow considering only one other guest was dining at same time but the food was good. Stating the obvious and echoing other guests as this is an old coaching in not designed for vehicle access so expect a tight risky navigation into the car park. Mirrors in and pay attention and all will be good - we sought back exit when leaving and was as tight if not harder to navigate but nothing the hotel can do to improve this. Pleasant stay and would consider if in area again.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room had everything possible that we might need and was clean and tidy. There is an iron and ironing board which was useful. The food was very good. The car park might be a challenge for large vehicles as you have to go through a narrow arched passage. We got through with no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Warm welcome, lovely room, deliciously comfortable bed. The Highworth is a gem. I was greeted by Katie who, from start to finish, was so accommodating and helpful. My room was huge, with tasteful decor, immaculately clean, large bath with excellent water pressure, great lighting, and a nice view of Highworth high street. Locally, there’s a good choice of places to eat, shops, a pretty town centre, local golf course, and you’re on the edge of the Cotswolds. Breakfast in the orangerie was delicious, the chef made it to order for 8am on the dot because we needed to get away for work. The young lady who serves us and check us out was warm and chatty. A special thank you to Katie, for being so kind, genuine and just lovely! Highly recommended

We went for a meal here for the first time for our friends birthday and had the most amazing time. The staff were great, haven’t received such amazing service for a long time. They even came out singing happy birthday for my friend. The food was delicious and fresh. The cocktails were delicious.

Coming to the end of our wonderful second stay at The Highworth for our annual reunion as we gather from across the country to catch up and reminisce! The staff are just lovely with special thanks to Katie, Annabel and Chloe. Nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are beautiful and spotless. The bar and communal areas are welcoming and comfortable and the food is excellent We are already planning to book for next year! Thanks for a great stay. Sue Hall
