A lovely relaxing stay at this spa wellness hotel. Excellent service and fabulous therapies. Hotel clean and well presented. Good food choices both at the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Enough for all and lots of choice. Staff in all areas were helpful and friendly. Therapists were fantastic. I'm planning my next trip already!

We had a conference at Hotel Carbona. This a large, nicely refurbished hotel. The room was cosy, the service was great. The spa and wellness unit is fantastic. Also it is very nice to walk around Héviz. The breakfast selection was enormous and the food was very tasty.

These 12 days were truly unforgettable. It was our first experience with this type of hotel and vacation, and it exceeded all expectations. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, with everyone speaking and understanding English fluently. Agent Ilona was especially helpful, providing clear explanations about the procedures and the layout of this stunning place. The medical and rejuvenation treatments, recommended after a consultation with the doctor, were conducted with great professionalism. I was particularly impressed by the thermal pool and sauna located within the hotel—an absolute highlight of our stay. The restaurant offered a diverse menu each day, and every meal was delicious. The evening program, featuring live music, added a perfect touch to the already wonderful atmosphere. Our suite was both comfortable and beautiful, complete with an orthopedic mattress and a choice of pillows to suit every preference. The room was cleaned daily, ensuring a consistently pleasant experience. Overall, I loved everything about our stay and highly recommend it. I plan to return every year!

Not friendly staff. Rooms are very small ours has mold in it. Few days they haven’t cleaned our room, days that they pretend to clean job was done very poorly and they didn’t even empty trash baskets leaving garbage right in them. Went for neck stretches in a small pool equipment is outdated and made us very uncomfortable, but even that wasn’t a big problem during our he procedure they kept letting people in and out of the pool while we we’re hanging by the necks. In small pool it created waves turning the procedure in to a nightmare.

Place actually seems like it needs lots of work to go in. Got fooled by so many positive reviews and reality set in when we got there. Simply nothing to do with kids, not kid friendly. Had to ask them to clean our room. They had some construction going noise was really bad.

Do not disregard negative reviews! Google has lots more and pay attention to details. Our second visit in a year to the lake, unfortunately we picked this place. Most of the staff are not friendly, can’t say it is a cultural thing, we stayed at another hotel people were very nice. Room, we stayed in had mold and we constantly felt sick and always had to keep balcony doors open. A few times the room wasn’t cleaned at all, other times when they pretended to clean the room they left trash in trash baskets. They have added an extra charge for cleaning, keep an eye on that. When we went for procedures neck stretching their equipment is outdated and made us very uncomfortable (we had similar procedures done in other hotel we stayed in prior it was good) to make things worse during our procedure they kept letting people in and out of the pool while we hang by our necks that caused waves and it was horrible. Very poor customer service.

The hotel and the services are above expectation. Decent prices and the staff is very helpful and polite. The thermal spa and the experience pool, the pool bar is excellent. Swimming pool is 25 meters long, 2 saunas can be used and included. Highly recommended.

The recent heat wave (August 2023) was hard to bear so we booked a fully air conditioned hotel with a pool to escape the heat for a few days. We are very well travelled and no strangers to hotels but this hotel is absolutely wonderful. It would take ages to point out all the small details that they get absolutely right and to explain that the management clearly know their business. It is rare to find such service and we shall return. The setting and the architecture are just amazing. The trees, the flowers, the marble finishes and the superb spa facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean and everything works flawlessly. Great staff in all departments and then there is the food . . . . It will take ages to diet off the extra kilos after so much top quality lamb, venison, smoked salmon, beef, pork, chicken – all presented with perfection. What a superb high standard. The buffet is just out of this world. The porter brought our luggage in from the car and returned it to the car when we left . . . now it's a long time since that happened. They say that “Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten” so just get booked and pay the bill with a smile as it is worth every Euro and actually not really expensive at all. You will never regret it.

Stayed with the family in October 2022 for 10 days and had the most awful experience in my life. The room wasn’t cleaned as you expect in 4 star hotel, there’s no air conditioning in rooms, mouldy shower, rude staff. Not suitable for parents with children.

Tolles Hotel, höfliche, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, gepflegte Badelandschaft und saubere Zimmer- aber- leider ein alleingehaltener (!) Ara der sein Leben einsam in einem viel zu kleinen Käfig ohne Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten fristet, das ist reine Tierquälerei. Bedenkt man das diese wunderbare Tiere in ihrer Intelligenz einem ca. 3 jährigem Kind entsprechen, kann man das Ausmass dieser unverantwortlichen Haltung ohne Beschäftigung und Artgenossen verstehen. Auch den Entgegnungen des Hotels die man auf die Bewertungen findet, die diese erschütternde Tragödie ansprechen, kann man nur als Hohn empfinden. Hier findet man zum Beispiel als Antwort: man habe bereits versucht den Vogel zu vergesellschaften. Fakt ist: Der Vogel ist noch immer alleine. Der Käfig ist noch immer winzig. Der Vogel ist noch immer unter widrigsten Bedingungen gehalten. Den Vogel einem Zoo oder einer Papageiengemeinschaft zu überlassen die um die vielfältigen Bedürfnisse dieser wunderbaren, klugen Tiere wissen, wäre eine mögliche Option. Daher mache ich, meine Freunde und Bekannten keinen Urlaub in diesem Hotel mehr solange dieses wunderbare Tier nicht vergesellschaftet und artgerecht untergebracht ist.

In dem Hotel wird einem auch nach 2 Wochen nicht langweilig. Angenehme Kurbehandlungen, Massage, Fitness, Beauty, alles da. Hervorzuheben das großartige Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet - TOP was Auswahl, Abwechslung und Qualität betrifft. Alles sehr appetitlich, es wird immer nachgereicht und geputzt. Bedienung beim Abräumen manchmal sogar zu flink! Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Superior-Zimmer im 6. Stock mit Blick direkt indie Bäume, ganz ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist zwar nicht die modernste, aber gerade deshalb funktional und viel Stauraum. Auch hier alles piccobello sauber. Einzig die Leselampen beim Bett könnten verbessert werden. Etwas mühsam ist der Eingangsbereich mit etlichen Stufen und einer steilen Rampe - vielleicht lässt man sich hier für die gehbehinderten Gäste eine Lösung mit einem Lift einfallen?

Sehr gutes Wellnesshotel in Héviz. Gute Küche mit sehr reichhaltigem Buffet (internationale und ungarische Küche). WLAN funktioniert, das Zimmer ist sauber (unbedingt die erneuerten Deluxe-Zimmer buchen!), wenn auch ein bisschen hellhörig (zum Gang hin). Es gibt mehrere Wellness-Bereiche (mehrere Thermalbecken, ein Erlebnisbecken und ein Schwimmbecken). Der Thermalsee in Héviz is zu Fuß leicht erreichbar, der Parkplatz ist gratis direkt beim Hotel. Mir fällt nur ein Verbesserungsvorschlag ein: Csusu, der liebenswürdige Papagei könnte einen etwas größeren Käfig bzw. mehr Platz bekommen. Absolute Empfehlung.
