Baleens Hotel

Loved it, family room was huge giving the little one loads of space together witf the balcony. We are planning another trip for next year and we will definately be booking here again. Keep it up guys!

Baleens Hotel is a perfectly located guest house in walking distance of Grotto Beach. The accommodation has sufficient parking for guests. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and decent bed linen. We stayed in pool facing rooms. Family room doesn't have a fridge but our double room did. Service was great and the manager was attentive throughout our stay. WIFI recption was good. Room towels were not great, size was limited to both towel and some had holes in them. The TV is tiny. Breakfast is limited you would be bored with the menu after two mornings.

I`ve experienced a couple with 2 small children demanding the waiter to take their breakfast order 1st, this after they entered last in the dining room. I was so disgusted with this behavior, that I actually did not order any breakfast for my wife and I, and just packed up and left. For whatever reason sparked this, I will never condone such behavior in future again. This will need to change, as I felt so sorry for the poor waiter that was only trying to please everybody. But never again in your town, nothing wrong with the Hotel though. I cannot deal with racist people that has no place in this country any longer. Your ethics in the hotel has to change though, your visitors should know to treat any person irrespective of colour, creed or race -Staff or fellow visitors with the respect they deserve. I think Jacque is an excellent manager, my wife and I were treated like royalty. Thanks for a memorable experience though.
