Hermanus Boutique Guest House

Our family of four had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hermanus Boutique Guest House. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome that made us feel instantly at home. The location is perfect — right opposite the sea and the stunning cliff walk, making it perfect for relaxing strolls and wonderful ocean views. The staff were consistently pleasant and professional, always going out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our family room was spacious, well appointed with, amongst other things, air conditioning if required and a spa bath, and provided exactly what was needed after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the daily happy hour, which was a lovely touch and a perfect way to unwind in the comfortable lounge or dining area. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — an excellent selection of fresh fruit salad, delicious pastries, and a full cooked breakfast to get the day off in the right way. We also appreciated the flexibility of being able to come and go as we pleased, knowing that nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. We highly recommend Hermanus Boutique Guest House to couples, families, and groups looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming place to stay while exploring all that Hermanus has to offer. We stayed two nights and found the service and facilities were just right. From the welcome drink to the wine selection we liked it very much. Sparkling clean room and pool and beautiful view. The host gave us good tips on where to go too. We would come back.

Hermanus Boutique Guest House is a lovely place to stay in a really great location just out of the centre of town right on the Cliff Top. The walk into the town is scenic 10 minute walk along the Cliff Path where if you feel in the mood you could start with a drink at the very scenic Ficks Pool Restaurant & Bar just across the road. Rooms and facilities at HBGH are top notch as is the service and the lovely Breakfast Buffet with hot food to order. The staff are very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. There's secure parking on site (probably best to book a space if you're arriving in your own car) access is 'fob' controlled to the site and the Hotel building. This was our second stay here and should we come back to Hermanus we would stay here again without the need to look elsewhere. Fully recommended.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel and had an excellent stay. Had a spacious connecting room for 2 older teen children who had their own bathroom facilities, TV etc. Air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, small balcony, turn down service, private parking and secure. They offer complimentary wine in the evening which is a nice touch and breakfast each morning. Short walk to the village square or 60 rand taxi ride to restaurants and shops. Great location opposite a restaurant and sea water pool. Staff very attentive and can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend and stay again.

This place is a real home from home, this was our second visit and we can not fault it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the decor is both stylish and comfortable and the breakfasts as good as you would find anywhere. We have already booked for next year

Located a short walk from the centre of the town of Hermanus this certainly proved to be quirky. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and breakfast was fair if a little limited compared to others. The room we had (the honeymoon suite) was the quirky part as it featured a picture window looking out onto a busy street. That in itself was no issue other than the shower and bath were in the same open plan room!
