"The Malin Hotel is located near the ancient city site, close to the city center, the accommodation is excellent, it is very convenient to eat and go shopping nearby, the owner is also warm and thoughtful, the breakfast is rich and has an invincible sea view."
"We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here."

"The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was a small supermarket in the lobby. In particular, the front desk staff was very warm and friendly, and gave us handwritten bus routes and bus stop names. The bus stop was not far from the hotel, which was very helpful for us to visit the city (the bus driver did not understand English)."

Amazing
GGiorgos Papadopoulos 17Good location, excellent service and amazing staff. They were very friendly and our room was very clean and tidy. Also it was smelling freshness when we entered the room. Everyday they ask you if you want your room to be cleaned and they are always available to help you. I 100% recommend it and will definitely stay again!
WWade99Capsis Astoria is a great hotel centrally located in Heraklion. The rooms are comfortable and we liked our balcony. The rooftop pool is amazing with a full service bar and plenty of different types of seating and views of the city and sea in the distance. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the road from the hop on hop off bus, airport bus, museum and many restaurants and bars down the alleys.
GGuest UserI had a lovely 2 days stay here! The staff was helpful and friendly, room service was excellent too! This was the nicest hotel for a great price! I chose the budget room and will come back again! Also, I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast! Cheers!
GGuest UserThe apartment is ground floor in a good spot in Heraklion. It is spacious , clean, and convenient with nice kitchen area, spacious pleasant bedroom and compact but nice shower room. The living area is spacious but the furniture is functional rather than luxury, and includes a simple sofa bed and single bed . The owner is attentive . However, although We were offered clean towels during our week stay they never turned up . Disappointing. . There is no where to hang wet towels other than on the furniture.
GGuest UserI arrived very late at night to a totally unsuitable unmade room
The young man on reception immediately sorted out a new room which was clean and comfortable.
He provided cold drinking water which was lovely after a long journey and offered any assistance needed.
Very central to town and transport.
1 minor point - tea, coffee etc provided but need some sachets of milk.
Would stay again and is recommended.
JJoshDBWRoom was cosy and big with good facilities (especially the balcony), and the breakfast was the expected options but filling. One drawback would be that it took the staff a long time to clean and prepare the room, even though the end results were just ok. For example the shower gel was merely filled with water to give the appearance of it being full, rather than replacing the bottle. Maybe this was the previous occupant but the hotel could look to keep an eye on details a little closer.
Ttai0910Although the hotel is located in the sea, it is close to the bus terminal, the airport bus station, the archaeological museum, the castle and the most lively August 25th street. It is within walking distance. We have 3 people on this trip and choose to live in a family room. The hotel provides a lot of space, up to 35 square meters, enough to live in 4-5 people, good decoration design, The breakfast is also rich and delicious. The disadvantage is that the hotel is located in the old area. The surrounding environment is relatively narrow and messy. Because of the off-season, the hotel's top floor is not open. There are two hotels under the same area and the group. Come back next time. I want to try it.
GGuest UserThere is a double bed and a single bed in the room. Although the space is not large, it is fully furnished: there is a wardrobe and a desk. The bathroom is not small, and there is a small window for ventilation. We had a corner room with a long balcony. Although the room faces a side street, the doors and windows are well insulated so you don't feel noisy when sleeping at night. The location of the hotel is pretty good, six or seven minutes' walk from the Lion Fountain. The front desk is greeted by a friendly uncle who speaks English, and the check-in and check-out procedures are simple and quick. There is a bus right in front of the hotel. Whether you are coming from the airport or taking a bus to Heraklion, there is a direct bus stop at the door. Hygiene is OK, there is a hot water kettle. Breakfast was richer than I expected. All in all, the price/performance ratio is very good.
WWOOKI chose it because it was close to the airport and the price was cheap. I am satisfied with the overall facilities. The breakfast was very satisfying. In addition, the restaurant view was fantastic.
XXiangxiangzaibaliThe breakfast variety is very rich and the location is very good on the top floor. The room was very good, there was hair on the pillow, but it didn't matter if I was thrown in the cabinet. As other guests comment, the block downstairs is very unfriendly, I don't know if they will attack people, but at least it looks scary, girls are best not to pass there at night
