Heidi Motel - Helen

The room we stayed in was smaller than I expected, but had a very large bathroom as it was an ADA room. The room was clean and well maintained! You can’t beat the prices, especially with the level of attention and follow through that the staff afforded us. When I was booking the room I mentioned to the manager that it was my wife’s 60th birthday. She stated that was wonderful and they would decorate the room including leaving chocolate covered strawberries. When we got to the hotel, I was disappointed because there was no decorations, etc. I called the manager who informed me that the person that would’ve made those arrangements with me had been taken to the hospital as they fear she had had a stroke. I felt absolutely horrible for her. It turns out it was her daughter. She told me-she would make it up to us and have the room decorated, etc. if we left for a while. After we got back from dinner, we found a Happy Birthday sign on the door, balloons in the room, chocolate covered strawberries, plant a fragrance candle and a bottle of wine! They really outdid themselves. The rest of our stay was not eventful. We enjoyed our visit to the town and we would go back and stay at the Heidi Inn in a heartbeat.

Great location in downtown Helen. The rooms are a bit dated. Our bathroom door needed painting badly and some tissues in the bathroom are usually expected. Don't expect to be able to check in before 4pm unless you pay for it, not even an hour earlier. Our suite was around $300 and I think we could have done better for the price.

This hotel was one of the worst we have stayed in ! The lack of cleaning and maintenance was apparent. If we could have cancelled and checked out we would have ! The floors were filthy and mold is growing in bathroom ! would never recommend to anyone ! Run!!

Good communication and easy, keyless entry. The hotel is in a great location, across from Betty's Country Store, a must-visit with everything from quick bites to liquor to forgotten necessities. We visited with another couple and both our rooms were quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed wine (we brought) in the evenings on the patio high above the street. Parking is uphill and easy, but you must walk uphill to the hotel from the street. We all agreed we'd stay there again!

Room was clean and would easily accommodate a longer stay. Enough space to move about and a place to comfortably eat in the room. Great location for taking in all the activities, shopping and restaurants in the Helen Village area. Tastefully kitschy.

This motel is so quaint and charming, and the location is perfect! We stayed in a windmill suite and loved it. The room was very spacious and completely updated, and we loved the sitting area with fireplace. Michelle was so friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!
