Travelodge Hotel - Hickstead

Excellent location to stay whilst visiting Hickstead. Bathroom was poorly maintained and not clean. Overall the price at £300 per night was costly in relation to the rooms quality

Yasmin on the front desk was incredibly helpful kind and knowledgeable on the website; helped me navigate through all sorts of issues trying to book a room and if it wasn’t due her help I would have gone somewhere else .. incredibly approachable, likeable and so considerate.. absolutely appreciated someone there to help me because seriously couldn’t not have done it without her!!

The receptionist Nicola, on the desk was extremely helpful and polite, made my stay here feel that extra bit more pleasant.

We often stay at this particular Travelodge, good location and easy access to Brighton and the South Downs. On our stay in late May we left an item behind in our room but didn't realise until we got back home. We called the hotel and Nichola was on duty that evening. She checked the room and the item was still there, she went out of her way to post it back to us, this is much appreciated, thank you so much to Nichola

Stopped here for 4 nights at the end of June,clean and comfertable all the staff friendly and helpful, just about 9 miles from Brighton easy access to Eastbourne.Worthing and Hastings by car and just over the road from the Hickstead showground if you are into horses.No onsite cafe so no cooked breakfast on a morning you can order a breakfast box from reception which is a cereal and milk and a couple of other items for about £6 there is a Burger King on site but it doesn,t open until about 10.00am and also a Starbucks which opens at 5.30am and a Waitrose is also in the adjoining petrol station.Ample parking available on site. Whats not to like at this price.

Unclean bathroom. Peoples old dirty hair clips left in the room. Noise levels were awful above room 101. Wasps in the room. Never again.
