The toilet was blocked I was told they got contractors in emptying the pipes which was a lie. All night the toilet was making noises was blocked then the shower water wasn’t going down so the bath was filling up. When asked to see manager I was told no manager. At 11:00 they said I can change room which wasn’t any use as 1200 check out. Up till midnight I was keep having to go to reception to tell them the toilet isn’t working. Now it’s been almost 3 weeks I email to complain I’ve not had a reply. I’m a regular customer as I go there weekly.

The room is not capable of being a family room. There is no space at all between the 2 single and double bed, leaving only 1 side free. Without this, there’s still hardly any room left for a family of 4 to walk around these too. When reported (to the bar staff as the reception was non existent), I was told that we’d be visited by the reception to staff to see if there was anything they could do. They didn’t arrive, but even if they did, without building an extension, there was nothing they could do. DO NOT BOOK THIS IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 1 CHILD.

Had a great stay with great staff reception was excellent bar staff so polite and helpful can I say a thank you for Joe on the bar and restaurant for his hospitality and great service. The hotel uses a premium phone line and the reception staff do not answer it despite 5 seperate attempts over the course of an hour. This is incredibly frustrating and costly as I have a very simple question and I will now be charged several pound to have it not be answered.

This hotel used to be quite good, but seems to have gone downhill lately. Self check in good, as avoids the queues at reception. Unfortunately, due to the queues at reception it is a pain of you need to ask for anything...the bath plug was too small for the plughole, not just a bit small but totally the wrong size! Therefore the bath was unusable...very disappointing but was too tired to stand in a queue at reception for ages to complain. The Wi-Fi was shocking- 0.89 Mbps. Luckily, was able to tether to my mobile to get some work done. Room wasn't as clean as on previous visits, and the TV signal was also not good, pixelated and lots of channels not working, but only wanted to catch up on the news anyway...Shame as this used to be a good hotel. Premier Inn as a brand seems to be cutting corners but not the prices.
