Myself and my partner stayed here in from October to mid November 2019 while in search of a flat having moved over from Ireland - I had moved to London in march 2018 but had been touring the world with work and met my partner in Ireland where We're both from during the time so we decided to return back to the uk and this was a starting point for us until we sorted a rental. First of all its not terrible but it is bare basics and very aged Myself and my partner are two young men, we booked a double bed but without asking the front desk attendant gave us a room with two single beds - We didn't want to bring this up as the interaction at checkin was very awkward. we were at the back of the hotel and paid for an ensuite room. It was clean for the most part but clearly a low budget hotel that has aged. My biggest complaint was how early the room attendants go around to clean we had our door knocked on between 6am and 8am most mornings - I work in theatre so usually didn't get in until late so this and sharing one of the two single beds left me tired. there was also a night of endless fireworks, not one or two sounded like a display on the other side of the trees that definitely lasted well into the night. there was a breakfast room but we took one look in and decided to just order uber eats or head into central most mornings.... ---- as a one or two nighter I can see it being ok but definitely pay for the ensuite room (we didn't like the look of the shared shower and bathroom we saw) and don't plan on staying longer than that. The area surrounding the hotel is a bit rough around the edges but taxis and chauffeurs had no issue finding us and in mornings it wasn't a far walk from the station.
