Good hotel for short trip

We were a group of extended family and friends in London to watch two family members participate in the London Marathon. The hotel was full as there were two football finals also happening which made for a lovely community energy. We had a fabulous stay and positive experience from check in to check out. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Very comfy beds, lovely rooms, good WiFi. We loved the quality and choice of breakfast each morning.

Our room was infested in mould. We asked to move rooms as the smell and air quality was so poor and overwhelming. We were staying with our 2 young babies and so this was of great concern to us as they could have become very ill. The second room we were moved to was also mouldy so we ended up staying with a friend as we were worried about the health risk to our babies.

Excellent stay @Premier Inn (Harrow). After driving for 3 hours. Parked up and was met at Reception by Glenys. I wasn’t in the best mood after driving but thanks to Glenys, she managed to change my mood very quickly- cheers. The best thing about Premier Inns is that the rooms are what you would expect in any of them- clean, tidy, tea and coffee and very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was great. Kids eat free. It is 10 mins walk from Northwick Park which is on the Metropolitan Line and straight to Kings Cross or Euston or Wembley or to the Sky Garden / Tower of London, so we have decided that if we ever come down by train, we would stay here instead of central London because of the cost. There is a Sainsbury’s opposite as well. So, fantastic staff, very comfy night, great breakfast and great location

After giving the information over to the hotel management and told my vehicle had been booked in I get a parking fine. As always, I returned to the hotel, a couple of days after the fine comes through where I waited for the managers to see me. Explained the situation and they then looked into it. After a fifteen wait at the desk, I was told it was sorted out and not to worry. Can you imagine my surprise today when I get a letter saying I now own £95 for that parking fine. And I can't seem to appeal because I have used my appeal. Perplexed isn't the word I would use, imcompetence, idiocy and down right foolishness. I travel a lot and use premier inns most of the time. I don't let it concern my if the lift is out, where at this particular site both lifts were not in service at the time of visit. But I shall now not be using their services again. It is not the lack of caring that I received no it's the lack of communication that was given to me, as they have changed the parking service and now you have to write directly to the company. Instead they seem to have used my appeal and not forwarded on the fact that even though the parking service work for them and they are saying that they the customer made a mistake, the parking company refused the appeal. Good work premier inn I can see your standards have fallen far from the gutter standards found in a halfway house

Excellent location for an easy access to London tube. Ventilation in bathroom is non existent. That's very bad!! Internet reception in the room is as well - non existent , not the free wifi and not the Ultra wifi that some people may pay to use . The fact that they even charge for wifi is not acceptable.
