I loved our stay at this charming inn. It is what it says it is and if you need all the newest modern amenities this isn’t for you. Parking can also be a challenge but if you follow the directions in the email they send you’ll have no issues. It’s a clean historic Inn that offers a lot of conveniences like a little market and meals. You can enjoy time out on the patio and play darts or corn hole and it’s right in the center of everything in town. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. It was my first time staying in a historic inn and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I visited this hotel in Feb 2025, and I strongly recommend it. The staff are super friendly and helpful! They have a small market inside the inn that has everything you may need! The rooms are very cozy and nice! The water is always warm and the bathrooms are very clean! The only thing I think can be improved is the mattress in the room I was staying in, which was sagging a little… Overall this place is great!

It was our first time to Harpers ferry, and we had a wonderful time at the Town Inn. The location was perfect and our room felt totally unique like you would want it to be ..if you were staying in a historic mountain town. There is a kitchen for common use in the café area. It’s charming, and I made eggs and toast for us for breakfast each day.

Staying at The Inn was an experience i will never forget! My best friend and I wanted a quick weekend getaway to explore and enjoy nature. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by how quaint, adorable, comfy, and special our room was. It was in the perfect location to explore downtown and get to Maryland Heights Trailhead. I was anxious about Parking but Karan and her staff helped us feel comfortable and ensured we would be taken care of once we got there. The room was very clean, even as a dog friendly room. We could not have asked for a better experience and will be back! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Great hospitality, location and accommodations in historic Harpers Ferry. A friend and I were looking for a nice place to stay before and after a 50 mile hike on the AT and tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield. This was the perfect place. Two historic homes side by side one built in 1820, the other 1840. No modern frills and parking is a short walk for the whole town. Karen has owned/managed the Inn for 18 years and is as pleasant and accommodating as anyone I've ever met. Restaurants and shopping just out the front door. You'll love it!

I stayed as part of a section hike of the AT. The Towns Inn had reasonable prices, was clean and VERY helpful staff. As a hiker without access to our cars, the hotel staff graciously shuttled us to places we needed to go. The Inn is clean and very period focused...and the location is perfect as it is right across the street from a nice variety of restaurants. I would like to bring my wife and stay there again. Thomas

We were looking for a bed and breakfast in Harpers Ferry that was in Old Town because we wanted to explore the area. The location is fantastic for this. You just walk down the hill and you are in the park and on the river. Three restaurants are across the street. The innkeepers are on site and wonderful to work with. They work very hard to make sure your room is clean and help you. However, you are staying in a house built in 1820. So, there are steps and the floors are uneven and the bathroom is small. There is no television but you do have wi-fi. Cell service in the mountains is iffy. That is why I stress the concept of rustic. Think visiting a mountain cabin with indoor plumbing. The owner calls it a country inn which is pretty accurate. Location great, service great, cleanliness good. I cannot stress enough, if you come to Harpers Ferry, be prepared to walk up and down uneven steps. This applies to the Inn and the entire town.

We had a great stay at the Town's Inn. All of the rooms are different and accurately described on the website. We were searching for a place that is cyclist and pet friendly and booked room 1820. Very convenient to the shops, restaurants and parks. We really enjoyed Battle Grounds coffee and the Rabbit Hole restaurant, both directly in front of the inn. For parking- you can purchase the NPS pass ahead of time (1-7 days) and as long as you aren't coming and going during peak time on the weekends- it's no issue. There's an honor bar market, games such as cornhole, even crafting supplies. Very unique stay!

Charming and unique hotel in a beautiful old town untouched since the 19th century. The natural stone walls and tastefully decorated room is quite a welcome change from cookie cutter roadside hotels. If you’re looking for the same-old mass produced hotel in a sea of asphalt, this isn’t the place. But if you want something beautiful and unique check it out.
