Best location you can find in Old Quarter area- walking distance to the famous Banh Mi 25 and all other places. The host was very helpful and kept our rooms tidy at all times! No lifts- but didnt mind the work out! You can also book tours to Ha Long Bay!

Let's talk about the disadvantages first:
The room looks big in the photo but it is not actually that big. The shower head in the bathroom is a bit old and the water flow is not very strong.
The advantage is that the hotel is in a prime location, there are many food and massage shops outside, and the living facilities are good

When we arrived, the hotel didn't have our reservation. After some searching, the reservation was found, but unfortunately, there were no rooms available.

The hotel is overall nice for short staying, but at the time when we stayed there, there were some problems with the hot water and the water heating system was making loud noises at night due to a breakdown. The stuff was friendly and helped us to book the bus to our next destination

We had a great experience in the Elpis hotel. Very good location in old city and close to the main road so it was comfortable to get a taxi. Very good price for the room. Also at the hotel it was possible to buy bus tickets to other cities. The hotel owner was always in touch.

I’d plan to stay in this hotel for two nights but I can’t get back to hanoi, so they switched me to another nicer rom.
Room was clean, nice location, friendly staff and good service and amenities.

This hotel has no lift, so if you have heavy luggage, you may have trouble to carry them to the fifth floor. 😅
