ANYU Hotel - Hangzhou West Lake

It is a very nice boutique hotel. The staffs were very friendly and the breakfast, afternoon tea and supper snack are all extremely thoughtful. Definitely would recommend to friends and anyone whos going to visit HZ. However, since the hotel style is inspired by nature and earth palette, hence the room decor and lighting are not everyones cup of tea. If I am travelling solo, I think its a bit too dark and scary for me.

What an amazing hotel! Fron the lovely staff, the interior, the breakfast and the toiletries; you cannot go wrong here. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend anyone wanting a more laidback/resort vibe to give this a go. My only gripe is the distance to the city center which is about a 30-40 min taxi drive, but it is very close to everything around west lake.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and afternoon tea set. I loved the convenient location close to Xihu attractions.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Anyu Hangzhou. Even before we arrived in Hangzhou, we had had communications with the hotel about the room and they had already helped with our restaurant bookings. The service was impeccable from everyone at the hotel, from the front-facing staff to the housekeeping staff - all were so helpful and friendly and polite yet warm. They were also really responsive to our WeChat messages and queries. The breakfast, tea and twilight suppers were delicious and of top quality, and extremely pretty as well. There were free-flow fruits available for most of the day which is really quite nice. The hotel was beautiful and very clean with many amenities which were so helpful for our daily outings. One small downside was that the twin rooms are next to the road and it was a bit noisy on a Saturday night / Sunday early morning due to people talking on the street, but we only experienced this for one night. Otherwise the beds and the room were so comfortable that we slept wonderfully. Location-wise, it’s near enough West Lake and the other sights such that we don’t get stuck in the jam of the immediate Lake area and yet won’t take too long to get to all the sights and restaurants. The hotel even prepares a farewell gift for the guests - this was a really thoughtful extra touch. Truly a wonderful stay and most of all, we must commend every member of staff of the hotel for being so helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Very unique hotel .     The breakfast is amazing .  Greatly recommend it to anyone who is looking for special experience.

The aesthetic of the hotel is spot on. I love all the furniture choices of the hotel. The breakfast was superb and it was not even expensive. I would highly recommend their breakfast. The staff are also very friendly and thoughtful. The down side about the hotel was that it was a little warm and we were unable to turn on the AC since we visited in November. There were also some mosquitoes in the room due to the room temperature being a little on the warmer side. Noise level was OK, it did get a little noisy during one night, which was kind of expected since there are only 3 stories so we could pretty much hear all the noises from anyone walking past the property. Maybe it will be better to not stay on the side close to the streets. I would not recommend the balcony room since it’s really close to your neighbor and there isn’t much to see. There’s also no hotel facilities, which I didn’t mind but just fyi for anyone who is looking for a gym etc.
