Ulasan Hangzhou West Lake Xinqiao Hotel

The hotel is just a few hundred metres away from the boat terminal for the West Lake. It is on a busy shopping area with everything you can ask for. Walkable to the night market too! Service is great. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and clean. The hotel is well taken care of. Breakfast is delicious !

The hotel was good.. breakfast super.. but the free gift was provided it seems not so serious to handle. Little bit disappointed. The front desk information little bit late.. had to ask then waiting a bit longer too answer.

This is a dates hotel with some history. We still chose this hotel due to: 1) proximity to the West Lake (西湖) 2) next to a mall with restaurants and close to other malls 3) large hotel with lifts The stay was pleasant and the staff were helpful. You can send you taobao stuff here but you got to self help to id ur own stuff. We chose a rate with breakfast cos we always love hotel breakfasts. Spread was decent, not massive. If you want something with lighter taste, you can ask for less salt. Rooms wise, the rooms are decent for asian small sizes, but can be quite cramped for larger people. Not recommending a cot as it takes up walking space and becomes more of a hazard. Generally, the staff are polite and housekeeping was decent. Decent because it is a dated hotel, clean but somethings needs some refurbishment - like the light switch. The sensor does not contact well and there are moments the lights were disconnected and u got to stuff more receipts to have the contact. The viewing terrace is a nice place to visit at night. Do catch the sunset upon West Lake as sunrise is not available as the terrace will be locked (also sun rises from the east so sunrise is not as specatacular as the sunset). The travel desk is also reasonable. We booked a private hire for ￥500 per day and it was a comfortable tour ard Hangzhou city. We visited Leifeng Pagoda, tried the Longjing Tea amongst others. If u are on a budget, want some place close to malls and places, then this place is definitely worth considering.

Family trips with 2 kids, the condition of the rooms still presentable, it has a wall with door in between the rooms. the bed and room is sufficient space for the kids and adult. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, I have problem to use the washing machine as it required local phone number. The lady staff help to settle for us by using it own phone and we paid her cash. It was a surprise for me that they installed washing machine in the hotel as it doesn't not mentioned during my booking. But the problem, they only accept local phone number to pay via Alipay or WEXIN. I will recommend this hotel to friend.

This time hotel give a very old room compare to last few booking as same as this hotel. Hotel keep the breakfast food 25 min early and they dun care you are taking food, just take away all the food immediately. Hotel shut down the central air-con due to cool weather but is 20-22 oC and story sun, room is warm and cannot provide fans till last day check out.

Great location! Right next to the West Lake and a group of shopping malls. There are also many local food shops in adjecnt allies. Super convenient! Amenities do show the age of the hotel, but suffs are friendly and eager to help. We had a room facing the busy street and noise isolation was very good. Didn't bother me at all. Wouldn't mind to stay again!

Nice hotel with a Garden Terrace to view the West Lake. Hotel is dated but it is clean and non smoking. We were well assisted by a staff Ms Wang who was courteous and attended to our needs.

It was an old hotel with old decorations but a very good location. As for the restaurant, they didn't serve any international breakfast, and even when I was there it was a holiday and we couldn't find an empty table or chair to sit in the restaurant. The behavior of the staff was also unacceptable.

Location is very good

Only advantage is the distance to west lake. I booked a twin room. Suprise to get a room with 3 beds. Hotel deco and style of the room is old and tired. Cleaniness is bad. Hair on room floor. Carpet not clean. the Toliet door handle of my roomis broken
