Moshang Jiuxi Homestay(Hangzhou West Lake Branch)

We had a lovely stay at Moshang Jiuxi Homestay. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms well decorated, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile – truly one of the highlights of our stay. It’s also very dog-friendly – our pup was even given a cute little welcome pack, which was such a thoughtful touch! The location is great, close to West Lake and just a short walk to three nearby restaurants. Breakfast was a traditional Chinese style, which we enjoyed. It’s right at the foothills of the tea plantations. The only downsides were the lack of an on-site restaurant for dinner and no pool, which you might expect for the price. Overall, it was a great experience, but it did feel a bit overpriced for what’s included.

Very nice place ! Clean and modern, the area was very nice in the tea field. However difficult to access by taxi but possible you just have to walk 15min. The place is nice, the area is very calm for a chill weekend as a couple, we loved it from France ! Also the staff was very helpful ! We were just not used to the breakfast but the staff was so nice that we forgot about it :)

Hotel is situated in a less convenient location known for hiking. Do note that you will need to inform the hotel of your taxi car plate number (as soon as possible prior to arrival), if not you would have to alight at the general entrance and be made to walk 15min to the hotel (which is what happened for us). Room was very spacious and comfortable with nice toilet amenities, next to a tea field. However, it would be great if breakfast was more varied as we had the same breakfast for both days we stayed.
