Supervriendelijk personeel van een wat gedateerde accomodatie. Prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving van Kristiansand te verkennen. Je merkt dat hier de gloriejaren voorbij zijn, dat is wel jammer maar de eigenaren doen hun uiterste best om je een prettig veblijf te bezorgen. Het vliegveld is wel erg dichtbij en storend, dat is jammer van deze mooie plek. Het apartement was erg ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien met twee grote balkons. We konden niet eerder inchecken dan rond middernacht en dat was geen enkel probleem. Leuk berichtje in het Nederlands dat de sleutel onder de mat lag, met een goede routebeschrijving.

We travel to our family hytte in Lillesand regularly, and fly in and out of Kjevik. In the past we've stayed at the Dyreparken hotel the first and last nights of our visit, but now that our kids are teens and don't fit in the toddler beds, and we don't enjoy the noise at that hotel, I searched for another option. I was blown away by the Hamresanden Resort. What a beautiful, fun setting! We enjoyed walks on the beach, and even the teens enjoyed playing on the "playground". I reserved a studio but due to overbooking we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was amazing. Everything felt new and clean. We made dinner in the full kitchen and fully enjoyed the amazing rain-type showerhead. The front office woman (Victoria??) was SO nice. I wish we had stayed there longer! But we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Hamresanden purely for transit purposes, and for this aim the apartment was ok. It is obvious that the place is way more suitable in the summer time with a large and inviting veranda and a nice view over the park area. Visiting in a cold April evening, the place was really chilly despite two ovens, with a veranda door that seemed completely stuck from winter. The bunk beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. Had problems finding the check in area and a sign pointing the direction to reception would have been appreciated.
