I originally left this review 3 days ago and wrote it while sitting in reception of hotel. In that review I criticised senior management and the food served within the restaurant, also criticised other areas. Early evening on day I reviewed hotel, we were in our room when we got a phone call inviting us to a meeting with the Manager/ Director of hotel. We sat in his office for 30 minutes where he took notes of all our grievances and promised things would change. To be fair to the Manager he only took up his position 6 days ago. In the 3 days since original review, we have seen a huge difference in lots of areas, there are more waiters round pool area and service is now excellent, no waiting for over an hour to get a drink. The food has improved with more variety, it is not perfect but it is definitely a lot better and continues to improve, keep up the good work and improving. This hotel has some amazing hard working staff, who are very friendly and always welcome you with a warm smile. Hopefully the new management will continue to support the staff and keep improving things. Finally, I just want to say, that my review was genuinely how I felt at the time, the hotel picked up on it and reacted positively by reaching out and listening to our concerns then decided to do something about it. They have turned a negative into a positive within 3 days.

Had a great time at this hotel. The rooms were kept clean at all times and very spacious. The staff were very attentive and always happy to help. The bar staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hammamet

The hotel is lovely, spacious and very clean. The staff are very attentive and cannot do enough for you. Rooms are huge and lovely with comfortable bed and pillows which were cleaned daily. There is a lovely sandy beach on the doorstep with camels and horses walking along for rides if wanted, along with jetskis. The 24 hour bar was lovely and relaxing but for more family entertainment then to go to the sister hotel next door where a full animation team worked hard to amuse everyone day and night. The pool was lovely but unfortunately too cold to use as the weather was unusually mixed, but the heated indoor pool was a godsend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Arrived yesterday sorry to say but easyjet have sold me a pup, this place was built in the 70's and hasn't been touched since. Okay the staff are generally pleasant but the food and drinks are sub standard as for the hotel itself it really needs condemning yes it was a good deal but it shouldn't be sold to UK tourists

A beautiful and relaxing hotel. I travelled with my husband and three young children and it revived us! It was very quiet when we stayed and perfect for what we needed. We appreciated being able to walk to the 4* sister hotel (Les Orangers Beach) which was a little livelier/busier but not as pretty. It was nice to have a choice though and somewhere else to walk to. Weather was perfect end October - blue skies, a bit breezy, around 23 degrees. Hotel - Well designed with some luxury and character, but most impressive the exquisite gardens which our kids loved to run around. Rooms were very nice, not too fancy but had everything we needed and were cleaned well. Beach - kept very tidy, they even cleaned stones away! Vendors walking by were not allowed to approach you at your loungers so you weren't bothered; those we used (camels, henna) were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them. There was a security guard at the beach keeping a close eye on everything and we felt safe at all times. Food - good variety, my children are very fussy and enjoyed the pizza/pasta stations. No cereal for breakfast but they were happy with yoghurt/fruit/pastries. The pastries were tasty and I enjoyed the egg/omelette station. We were impressed with the food. Pools - loved the pools. Beautiful large outdoor swimming pool a bit cold, but still enjoyable. There is a smaller outdoor swimming pool with toddler paddling area near the spa which we enjoyed. What we really loved was the heated indoor pool which was often empty! Entertainment - it is a very quiet hotel. The kids club was empty at this time of year, and there really aren't any kids activities. That's fine as that is not what we were looking for, the pool and beach were enough. As mentioned above you could walk to the sister hotel for more activities and entertainment and the evening shows were fun. At Les Orangers Gardens there was sometimes musicians at dinner which we enjoyed. Staff - on a whole could be a little more friendly, but they really appreciated me attempting a word or two of Arabic and I felt this made a huge difference. Probably my poor pronunciation but it did bring out a lot of smiles and some nice interactions! We would be tempted to visit again in the autumn, it was a lovely break.
